Abstract/Summary:
To some extent,cultivated land pressure represents the threshold value to maintain cultivated land,and the pressure value in different time and space represents the pressure level of cultivated land resources corresponding to time and region.The existing calculation of the cultivated land pressure,which only considers the comprehensive production capacity of cultivated land in per unit area,ignores the significance of use efficiency of cultivated land.However,the improvement of cultivated land efficiency could alleviate the cultivated land pressure,and such research has not been reported.In view of this,this paper studied the spatial differentiation characteristics of cultivated land pressure in Tianshui and analyzed the related factors affecting the cultivated land pressure in Tianshui based on the correction of the cultivated land pressure index according to the cultivated land use efficiency,in order to rationally use cultivated land resources in Tianshui.It provides a theoretical basis for safeguarding food security in the region and coordinating the contradictions between socio-economic development and cultivated land use.The results showed:(1)Compared with the original cultivated land pressure index,the revised cultivated land pressure index doubled.Before the correction,the cultivated land pressure index showed a downward trend in general,and the ups and downs were relatively stable.However,the revised cultivated land pressure index showed a fluctuating upward trend,and the annual change range increased.From the point of view of spatial distribution,before the correction,the pressure on cultivated land in all counties had been continuously decreasing.The larger areas of cultivated land pressure were mainly distributed in the main city and Wushan.After the correction,the high pressure area of cultivated land pressure was no longer confined to the main urban area,and the pressure on cultivated land in Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County was particularly prominent.In addition,the overall differentiation degree of interior cultivated land was increasing slowly in these years with the driving of the growing grain output.(2)The center of cultivated land pressure moved to the northeast,indicating that the change rate of the cultivated land pressure in the northeastern county was relatively large.The cultivated land pressure had the consistent direction with the fertilizer use in per unit area,indicating chemical fertilizers had a positive impact on the pressure of cultivated land.From the perspective of the shift,the shifting scale of social economic barycenter was different from that of cultivated land pressure,which showed that the socio-economic and cultivated land pressure in Tianshui were spatially unbalanced.(3)The pressure of cultivated land and socio-economic factors in Tianshui city were both intensity and moderately related.The order was economic level> farmer income> factor input.A detailed analysis of the influencing factors would be carried out.The degree of relevance in descending order would be GDP> the proportion of the second and third industries> total investment in fixed assets> per capita net income of farmers> irrigation area> fertilizer use per unit area.In the future work of cultivated land protection,the agricultural structure adjustment should be carried out steadily under the premise of protecting the existing cultivated land and ensuring the comprehensive production capacity of grain.We would increase funding input and policy support for agricultural production,improve regional agricultural production conditions,improve the use efficiency of cultivated land,and improve the quality of cultivated land so as to alleviate the pressure on cultivated land.
