Combining traditional forestry and modern agriculture in the same land management unit,agroforestry can make full use of ecological space and tap the potential of biological resources,which can impro ve the output of land.Based on the view of farmers,this paper studied the relatio nship between agroforestry participation behavior and farmers' income,farmers' livelihood,farmers' policy recognition and agricultural technology extension.In this paper,the author selected the northern Jiangsu region as the research ground,and compar ed the participation and nonparticipation of farmers in the five dimensions of individual characteristics,family characteristics,resource endowment,agricultural extension and policy recognition,and using Probit binary selection model to analyze the influencing factors and the positive and negative correlations of farmers' agroforestry behavior.And using Interpretative Structural Modeling to analyze the relational and hierarchical structure of the influencing factors.On the basis of the above researc h,combining with the existing agricultural extension system,this paper puts forward the construction of the "one body two wings" butterfly-type agroforestry system,in order to provide scientific basis for the popularization of agroforestry.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The factors influencing farmers' participation in agroforestry are numerous.Among them,household age,gender,household population size,understanding of the relevant policy are significant at the level of 5%;household education level,household annual income level,forest land area,farmer cooperatives,agricultural technology promotion station and loaning are significant at the level of 1%.The results also showed that household annual income level,agricultural technology station and loan are the surface direct factors;forest area and understanding of the relevant policy are the intermediate indirect factors,the household population size,the household education level and the farmer cooperatives are the deep root factors.(2)Farmers choose to participate in agroforestry is mainly due to the neighbors and relatives of the model driven and government publicity and support,which could bring more economic benefits;farmers who did not participate in agroforestry main because there are no adequate labor force and time,lack ing of information,and scattered land.Statistics of all the samples found that the lack of technology,lack of labor,market information lag and shortage of funds are generally considered the problem farmers.(3)The promotion of agricultural technology and farmers' awareness of policy influence farmers' agroforestry behavior.On the basis of the research,this paper constructs a "one body two wings" butterfly-type agroforestry extension system,which with the go vernment extension system as the main body,the scientific research institutions and the colleges as the support,the farmer cooperatives as the help,the agribusiness leading enterprise as the supplement and the intermediary consultation organization as supplement.
