With the sustained and rapid development of China's national economy,industrial economic activities have become increasingly frequent,and the industrial structure has also entered a stage of deepening reforms,a higher demand for regional freight transport structure has been put forward.Freight transport industry guides and guarantees the development of regional economy,and the regional freight structure in western China will be developing and transforming from "lagging-and-growing-type" to "adapting-and-coordinating-type",under the strategic influence of speeding up the economic transformation and optimizing the upgrade of industrial structure.Therefore,the development of regional freight structure should not only ensure adequate cargo transport capacity to meet the growing demand,but also promote settlement of the internal and external conflicts in the freight structural system,to improve the quality and level of freight transport,to ensure the orderly industrial transfer at home and abroad,and to promote sustainable economic development.In order to study the interaction influence of the national economy growth and the industrial structure evolution on the freight structure,the thesis firstly shows the factors and driving mechanism of the freight structure evolution through the analysis of the general rules and trends of the freight structure evolution in major countries.Combining with the driving mechanism of industrial economic growth and structural optimization,the thesis shows that the dominant factor in freight structure evolution is the needs of social and economic development and industrial production.Then,this thesis studies the interactive relationship between the freight structure development and socio-economic growth with the supply-demand relation theory of freight transport structural system.With the help of the System Information Entropy theory and the Industrial Structure Diffusion theory,this thesis studies the influence law of industrial structure on freight structure,and shows a measurement method of evolution characteristics and trend of freight structure.Furthermore,the thesis reveals the main contradictions in the evolution through adaptability and coordination analysis of freight structure.With the Gray Relation theory and the Push-pull Effect theory,the thesis sets up the improved GRA model and the Push-pull Effect model,and further studies the key influence factors and trends of freight structure evolution.Finally,the thesis takes Xinjiang region as an example to carry on the empirical research.Through the analysis of freight supply-demand structure,the adaptability analysis,the analysis of push-pull effect,and the analysis of evolution and driving mechanism,this thesis studies the characteristics and trends of the Xinjiang freight structure in main evolution stages,and some measures suggestions based on the analysis results are given.
