The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important link connecting the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road,also as an important part of the regional development pattern of China.However,the goods Transport supply can not meet the demand for cargo transportation during the “Eleventh Five-Year” and “Twelfth Five-Year” period,and this hinders the process of opening to the outside world and domestic development,and also restricts the promotion of China's overall power.In order to resolve the contradiction between freight supply and demand and promote the coordinated development of the industrial structure of cargo transport,this article will start with the relevance of freight development and industrial structure evolution to clarify their inner connection.Then providing theoretical support through revealing the industrial layout of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promoting the release of the transport potential of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The first chapter reviews the current studies of freight transport and the development of economy and industrial structure,and innovatively selects cargo transport volume and industrialization level as two indicators for evaluating the development of freight transport and industrial structure.In the second chapter,the basic freight elements evolution,time evolution,pattern evolution,structural evolution and average haul evolution of the Yangtze River Economic Belt during 2005-2015 were studied based on the analysis of the influencing factors of freight transport.The development of freight transport in the eastern part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is far ahead than other two regions,with a clear gradient.In the third chapter,a comprehensive evaluation system for the industrialization level was constructed based on the analysis of the factors affecting the industrial structure and the evolution rules,and the level of industrialization was used to measure the industrial structure.The article discovered that the industrial structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt evolved rapidly from 2005 to 2015,and the higher the level of industrialization,the easier for optimizing and upgrading the industrial structure.In the fourth chapter,the impact of the development mechanism of freight transport demand,industrial structure on the development of freight transport,and the freight transport development on industrial structure changes were studied based on the research of the Yangtze River Economic Belt freight development and industrial structure evolution.This article discovered:(1)Cargo transport guarantees the realization of the value of the industrial economic system and provides a basis for the adjustment of the industrial production scale and production methods in the next period.Moreover,the development of the industrial economic system provides economic and technical support for the development of freight transport;(2)The relationship between the transportation of goods and the evolution of industrial structure has product linkage,technology linkage,investment linkage and labor linkage.Chapter 5 selects the time series data of the overall freight transport development industrial structure evolution of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2005 to 2015 to build an overall correlation,and the panel data of freight transportation development and industrial structure evolution in the three regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and 11 provinces to build the regional correlation and provincial-city linkage elasticity model.Quantitative analysis found that:(1)the elasticity value of the freight transport volume to the industrialization level is greater than 1,the increase in cargo traffic leads to the increase in industrialization level.(2)In areas with different levels of industrialization,the increase in the volume of cargo traffic caused by the increase in industrialization level is different,and the overall increase rate is not a simple sum of locally increased proportions.(3)Freight turnover is more susceptible to fluctuations in the level of industrialization than freight traffic.(4)Cargo transport structure and industrialization levels affect each other.
