Enterprise supplementary medical insurance is an important part of China's medical insurance system.With the development of the economy and society,the requirements for the health insurance of the staff and workers are increasing gradually.,as well as the expectation for the supplementary medical insurance,but the current basic medical insurance of Chengdu City has a lack of reimbursement coverage for some major diseases.Therefore,Chengdu YC Company hopes to improve the operating mechanism of its supplementary medical insurance as its employees' welfare,which aims to effectively improve the insufficiency of the basic medical insurance system,relieve medical pressure,and improve the sense of ownership and satisfaction of the employees.This paper,based on the case of Chengdu YC Company's supplementary medical insurance operating mechanism,analyzes the problems existing in its current supplementary medical insurance mechanism,and puts forward practical and pertinent measures.This paper includes five parts.The first part introduces the research background and significance of this topic,the current research status at home and abroad,the problems to be solved and the methods adopted.The second part expounds the related concepts and theoretical foundation of the supplementary medical insurance.The third part describes the operating mechanism of Chengdu YC Company's supplementary medical insurance system.The fourth part points out the existing problems of Chengdu YC Company's current supplementary medical insurance and analyzes the reasons deeply.The last part puts forward the pertinent improvement measures.The research results of this paper will provide support for the revision of the methods of the supplementary medical insurance operation and management in Chengdu YC Company,and will be helpful for realizing the company's human resources planning goals in 13 th Five-Year,as well as for establishing multi-level medical insurance system and long-term mechanism of talent incentive to improve the employees' quality of life ultimately and enhance enterprise cohesion and creativity.At the same time,the research results provide reference not only for the brotherhood of the industry,but also for other companies which want to establish or improve the supplementary medical insurance.
