Study On The Development Of Daylily Industry In Qidong County

Regional characteristic agricultural products and its industrialization development plays an important role in increasing farmers' income and rural development.Qidong County is located in the typical hilly area of southern Hunan Province,and it has a good production condition.Since the beginning of its history,the planting and processing of daylily has made the local brand of agricultural products and the traditional culture.And now,the daylily industry has become the leading industry for promoting economic growth and farmers' income increase in Qidong county.Further promoting the development of daylily industry in Qidong County,is not only the needs of the development of county's characteristics economic,but also the needs of transformation and upgrading of China's consumer market.This paper,in the macro level,analyzes the current situation of the daylily industry by SWOT model at first.In order to grasp the development direction,development path and development ideas of daylily industry in Qidong County from the strategic level.And then,in the micro level,the author uses the Logistic method to analyze the relevant information collected from 136 households who are engaged in producing daylily,and to analyze the development status of daylily industry in Qidong County.It is found that the daylily industry in Qidong County is faced with such problems as low production intensive level,scattered production organization,simple processing technology,single product function and attenuation of planting enthusiasm.Finally,the suggestions to promote the further development of daylily industry in Qidong County are put forward as follows: the degree of industrial organization must be improved,the new varieties and new technology must be promoted,the industrial value chain must be expanded and a standardized industrial system must be build.
