Creative ideas and business operations have been essential steps to boost the value formation and added value of fashion design product in creative industries.To become a successful fashion designer,one not only needs the creative ideas to adapt to the need of the era,one also needs to possess the knowledge related to fashion business operations.Only in this way,more value can be created.To explore the development strategy of value formation for the Chinese fashion industry,the author of this article,viewing from the perspective of the value chain of fashion design product,adopting such research methods as interdisciplinary intersection,documentary method,case analysis and other research methods,mainly analyzes the process of creative ideas to commodity value formation of the British fashion brand,Burberry.Firstly,this paper provided a brief overview of the creative industry development and connotation,introduced the elements of fashion design product value formation,collected and filtered the materials before giving her own procedure chart----“fashion design” product value chain.Secondly,taking Burberry as an example,the paper analyzed in further detail the brand "fashion design" product operation in the fashion industry value chain,which includes two major steps: "product ideas" and "business operations".The author,taking case analysis method,discussed the formation of values in these two steps and the embodiment of product value,the features of the brand product,of its business operation model,as well as the deeper reasons,including the influence of macro environment,British industry chain operation,and influence of the designer's personal education on the process of product value formation.Finally,taking into consideration the value chain of creative commodities and the current status of Chinese fashion industry,this article made suggestions for the value development strategy of our fashion industry,which covers: 1.Creative development strategy of domestic clothing brands;2.Human capital creative business bi-culture strategy;3.Development strategy of product intellectual property protection;4.Integration development strategy of fashion industry.It is hoped this article give some inspiration to Chinese fashion design industry,promote the gradual combination of the fashion products with the of creative industry connotation,meet the requirement of creative industry era,so as to achieve the integrated development of product design and the business.
