Employee turnover of building construction enterprises has been rising increasingly.Project personnel are important managers in such enterprises,and play an important role in the intense competition of the construction market nowadays.Due to such reasons as conflict with career planning,no time for taking care of family,insufficient communication and enormous pressure for guaranteeing construction quality,construction cost,construction period and construction safety,employee turnover has become increasingly high.In general,the number of project management personnel of a construction enterprise accounts for over 80% of the total and over 90% output value of the enterprise is directly attributed to such personnel.So the loss of such personnel will cause huge losses to such enterprises.By learning about reasons for leaving,timely finding countermeasures,establishing good relations with employees,alleviating the conflict between employees' work and family,and helping employees with career planning,employees' work efficiency and loyalty to enterprises can be improved greatly.Construction enterprises should actively analyze reasons for employee turnover and take effective measures to reduce the turnover of project management personnel.This paper introduces the era background,industry characteristics and human resource situation of China Construction Installation Engineering Co.,Ltd.with some cases.This paper also analyzes the reasons for employee turnover and elaborates on reasons and countermeasures from such aspects as individuals,collectives,companies and the industry by focusing on things which happened before and after leaving of Zhao Wei and Ding Qiang who are technical leaders of large projects in Beijing and Wan Jiawei who is the technical supervisor.So China Construction Installation Engineering Co.,Ltd.should make use of its own advantages as an influential state-owned company,strengthen employees' sense of belonging and sense of honor and truly solve employees' personal problems;otherwise it will be very difficult to retain employees for people attach more importance to themselves nowadays.
