Research On The Improvement Of Cooperative Relations Between Owners And DB Contractors Based On IPD Concept

In recent years,with the implementation of China’s construction market Project general contracting model,the owners and the contractor about the Audit review and other control of the compon environment of low trust in our country is difficult to apply to the market environment of high trust.On the one hand,the contractor believes that the characteristics of Project general contracting lead the owners to transfer the majority control right to the contractor for control and themselves can make profits by using the design and construction convergence;On the other hand,the owners are worried that the contractors will use the asymmetric information to gain moral hazard after gaining control of the project,thereby undermining the interests of the owners.According to the collection and arrangement of Project general contracting policies of projects in various cities in recent years,the documents of party discovery clearly stipulated that the amount of investment in projects should be examined and the costs of government investment should be reduced in the form of post-budget review and other formalities in government investment projects.However,contrary to the original design of Project general contracting projects,it will inevitably lead to unfair perceptions of contractors,which will lead to moral hazard or opportunistic behavior in the process of project construction.Research on project governance shows that governance mechanisms are an important driver of project performance.Contractual governance and relationship governance are part of the governance mechanism.While contractual governance has long been considered an important factor in reducing project transaction costs,there is still a need to encourage communication and information sharing between owners and contractors through relationship governance and to promote greater alignment of expectations with the project.Modern Research Supports the Complementary Function of Contractual Governance and Relationship Governance.Therefore,based on the above theories,this paper studies the performance improvement of project management in the design-construction(DB)general contracting mode as follows;First,the choice of management mode of DB mode owners in China.First of all,it analyzes the reason of the conflict of control right between DB mode owner and contractor under the existing situation in our country.Secondly,through the principal-agent theory and the game model,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of the conflict between the two parties in DB mode.Finally,this paper introduces the concept of governance strategy,combined with China’s actual conditions,choose DB mode project governance strategy suitable for our existing environment.Second,analyze the influence of IPD concept on the cooperation relationship of DB mode in China.Based on the governance strategy in DB mode,this paper first analyzes the improvement path of IPD concept to DB construction mode,and the characteristics and improvement mechanism of IPD on the improvement of cooperative relationship were summarized through literature review.The second is to judge the feasibility of IPD concept into DB mode.Finally,the key factors of improving cooperative relationship in the contract are extracted by literature analysis.Third,research on the improvement of DB mode cooperation based on IPD concept.Based on the contractual factors of the cooperative relationship,the contract terms of IPD and DB mode are compared,and the applicability and feasibility of the IPD contract terms in the context of our country are analyzed.At last,this paper puts forward an improved Strategy set of bilateral cooperation mode based on IPD concept in China.To summarize the above,this paper summarizes the application difficulties of DB mode under the current situation in our country through literature review,contractual text comparison and so on,and puts forward the path of DB mode governance based on IPD concept through project governance theory.Finally,the concept of IPD is used to provide governance ideas for project management performance improvement in DB mode.
