Research On Garbage Sorting Interactive Exhibits In Science & Technology Museum

With further promotion of environmental protection,garbage classification has become a hot topic in the research on how to manage environment.The education of science and technology museum plays an important role in educating citizens' environmental protection.Exhibits,as the soul of science and technology museum,also demonstrate theirs particular functions in such education.However,there are numerous problems in the exhibition items about garbage classification in the science and technology museum,greatly restricting the educational effect of exhibitions.The thesis summarizes the problems of exhibition items about garbage classification in present science museums and design ideas,principles,methods and forms of exhibitions via reviewing literature,interviewing experts and investigating the exhibition items about garbage classification in the museums on the spot.Meanwhile,it also explains the wide application of RFID in various fields,reveals the role of RFID played in designing exhibitions in the science and technology museums,and presents four theoretical bases,namely,value model relying on attention,Hein's museum educational theory,constructivism and experiential learning.Besides,in the paper,it has also been introduced that guided by people-oriented principle and the features of science,knowledge and interest,samples of interactive exhibitions about garbage classification are designed and made with the use of RFID according to the functions of exhibitions and audience's needs and programs which can achieve relevant content are written based on the ways loved by the audience and their curiosity about arranging content and methods for interactivity.
