Research On The Economic Contribution Of China's Air Transport Industry Based On Input-output Model

With China's strong support for the development of the civil aviation industry and the sound development of its foreign economy,China's air transport industry is developing well.According to both Airbus and Boeing forecasts,China will become one of the fastest growing regions in the global aviation market in the future.How to make full use of this opportunity to develop China's air transport industry and fully utilize its promotion for regional economic and other industries? Relevant departments and scholars try to give an answer,but most of them remain in the study of a single region,and lack of in-depth excavation of its utility mechanism and multi-dimensional comparative study.Firstly,based on the related research results of input and output in the air transport industry and the theory of industry relevance,the theory of AIC,and the fifth wave theory,put forward the conception of economic contribution of air transport industry.At the same time,study the various economic relationships between air transport industry and the regional economy or other industries represented by different coefficients.Secondly,the economic contribution of the air transport industry in China during 2002-2012,the economic contribution of the four major transport modes,and the economic contribution of the air transport industry in the four typical provinces or cities were measured.Study the changing trend of the economic contribution of Chinese air transport industry during the past decade.Finally,on the basis of the economic contribution of China's air transport industry and its constituent coefficients,this paper analyze the main economic contribution and the potential influencing factors of air transport,in order to propose suggestions and measures aiming to promote the economic contribution of Chinese air industry further.Through calculations,the economic contribution of China's air transport industry has been on an upward trend for the decade from 2002 to 2012,and it has the highest degree of economic contribution among the four major modes of transport,which is a powerful driver of regional economic development.There are differences in the economic contribution of the air transportation industry in the four typical provinces and cities.Through analysis,this paper believes that this is related to the industrial structure and industrial layout of different provinces and cities,and analyzes the industrial connection of air transportation in each province and city.
