An Empirical Study On The Efficiency Of Financial Poverty Alleviation In Dingxi City

As a populous country,China's economic development rate is in the forefront of the world,but the difference of people's living standards is obvious,and the economic level of poor areas needs to be improved.For a long time,the government has attached great importance to poverty alleviation and development in poverty-stricken areas.Dingxi City,as a key poverty-stricken area in China,has been extensively concerned about its long-term efforts to overcome poverty and tackle key problems.During the 12 th Five-Year Plan period,the poverty alleviation work in Dingxi City has achieved remarkable results.However,due to bad weather conditions and backward industrial development,the incidence of poverty is still higher than the national level.With the development of the concept of “accurate poverty alleviation,” To speed up the pace of poverty alleviation,financial poverty alleviation,as an important part of the work of precision poverty alleviation,is a part of the future poverty alleviation work that should be paid attention to in order to improve the efficiency of the use of poverty alleviation funds and the effective allocation of resources.By 2020,the poor population in Dingxi City will get rid of poverty in an all-round way and achieve the effect of “really getting out of poverty,getting out of true poverty”.Firstly,this paper expounds the research background and significance of the financial precision poverty alleviation efficiency in Dingxi City,discusses the domestic and foreign literature on the financial poverty alleviation efficiency,and determines the research ideas and contents.The paper also introduces the theoretical basis of financial aid efficiency,and provides theoretical support for the empirical research in this paper.Secondly,it analyzes the economic level of Dingxi City and the present situation of financial poverty alleviation.It mainly expounds the present economic level of Dingxi City,the composition of financial poverty alleviation funds and the main business of poverty alleviation work.And individual counties and regions of the classic poverty-alleviation case analysis and summary of experience.Thirdly,through the DEA model,the paper makes an empirical analysis on the efficiency of financial support precision poverty alleviation in Dingxi City from 2015 to 2017.Through the empirical results,we can see that the overall financial poverty alleviation efficiency of Dingxi City has reached an effective state,but there is insufficient efficiency in some counties.The change trend of poverty alleviation efficiency in the past three years is analyzed by Malmquist productivity index method.The conclusion can be drawn that the level of financial poverty alleviation efficiency in individual counties and regions has decreased by a small margin.Dingxi City's overall poverty reduction efficiency has been increasing year by year.
