For the analysis of mutual coupling effect between Nanjing metropolitan city and water resources,based on the relevant statistical data,establishing the urbanization index system and comprehensive index of water resources of Nanjing metropolitan city.Using variance weighting method to determine the index weight,and calculating the comprehensive scores,analyzing the changing characteristics of Nanjing metropolitan city and water resources comprehensive development level.Analyzing the influence of urbanization level and speed to the comprehensive development of water resources by regression analysis;at the same time,using the dynamic model of coupling degree and coupling coordination degree,from the perspective of time and space,analyzing the interaction relationship between the quality of Nanjing metropolitan city and water resources system.The correlation analysis method is used to judge the interaction effect between urbanization process and water resources components in Nanjing metropolitan area,the results showed that:Firstly,from the view of time,Nanjing metropolitan urbanization level and city speed showed rising trends,the urbanization quality index increased from 0.0573 to 0.9291,the comprehensive index of water resources increased from 0.3781 to 0.938.From the view of spatial distribution,city level showed the trend of decreasing from the center to the north and south sides,but the speed of the city showed an obvious opposite spatial distribution pattern.Urbanization quality of the four time(2003,2007,2011 and 2015)showed the distribution characteristics of decreasing from the center to the north and south.The comprehensive development level of water resources presented a certain complexity in spatial change.In 2003,Nanjing City,Yangzhou city and Huaian city belong to the high quality type,Wuhu belongs to the good type,Chuzhou city belongs to the general type,Zhenjiang City,Ma'anshan city and Xuancheng city belong to the inferior type.And in 2015,Nanjing City,Zhenjiang City,which belongs to the high quality type,Yangzhou city,Huaian city and Xuancheng city belong to the good type,Chuzhou city and Wuhu city belong to the general type,Ma'anshan belongs to the inferior type.Secondly,from the view of time,with the development of the urbanization level and speed,the comprehensive index of water resources was also increasing.The dynamic coupling degree of urbanization quality and water resources system increased from 16.7938 to 77.6433,from the primary to the coordinated development of mutual influence and mutual restriction.From the view of spatial distribution,the dynamic coupling degree of urbanization quality and water resources system in Nanjing metropolitan city showed significant spatial change.In 2003,the coupling coordination degree of Nanjing city was the highest,reaching 0.8259;the coordination degree of Yangzhou City was higher,reaching 0.7109;the coupling degree of Zhenjiang City and Wuhu City were in the scheduling of medium,respectively 0.6671 and 0.6817,Ma'anshan City,Chuzhou city and Xuancheng City,which coupled with a low degree of coordination,respectively 0.5895,0.5361 and 0.5315,the coupling degree Huaian City was the lowest,only 0.3606.In 2015,the coordination degree of Nanjing City was 0.8348,belonging to the extreme coordination type,the coupling coordination degree of Zhenjiang City increased to 0.7521,belonging to the intermediate coordination type,the coupling coordination degree of Yangzhou City,Huaian City,and Wuhu city were 0.6972,0.6448 and 0.6222,which belonged to the primary coordination type,the coupling degree of Chuzhou city and Xuancheng City were 0.5542 and 0.5669,which belonged to the barely coordinated type,and the coupling coordination degree of Ma'anshan was reduced to 0.4774,which was on the verge of maladjustment.Thirdly,there is a high correlation between urbanization level,speed and efficiency of water resources utilization,the protection and management of water resources;urbanization quality affected the comprehensive development level of water resources mostly as:the quality of population development,the quality of life of residents,the quality of infrastructure,and water resources affected urbanization quality mostly as:the protection and management of water resources,water resources utilization efficiency.Fourthly,by analyzing the interactive coupling mechanism between urbanization and water resources,then putting forward some suggestions on the Nanjing metropolitan city including:Nanjing city should promote industrial upgrading and transfer,play the leading role of radiation to the surrounding city;Zhenjiang should give full play to the advantages of the port,to establish a regional logistics and Information Center;Yangzhou city should actively undertake industrial transfer of South of Jiangsu,and accelerate the process of city;Huaian City should use its own advantages to develop characteristic agriculture,relying on regional advantages to become a new growth pole of the north wing of metropolitan area;Ma'anshan city should actively undertake the industry transfer from Nanjing City,and coordinate regional industrial water and agricultural water;Chuzhou city can develop the tourism and the modern service industry;Wuhu city should connect the Wanjiang City belt and Nanjing metropolitan area,and establishing a modern logistics transshipment center;Xuancheng city should actively participate in the Nanjing metropolitan area,undertaking industrial transfer,and developing the manufacturing industry.
