Economic development cannot be separated from resource consumption.To get rid of resource limitations of economic development and the relationship between economic growth and occupancy of resources is the linchpin to realization of sustainable economic development.This paper adopts the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research object.Software,such as Ar GIS 10.2,ENVI5.2 and EXCEL,is employed.Theoretic research and empirical research,qualitative and quantitative research methods are combined.With information tupu theory as the theoretical basis,data spanning from 2006 to 2016 are chosen to examine the decoupling relationship between economic growth and resource environment from the perspective of water resources,land resources and ecological environment.First,the change status of Guangxi's economic growth and resource environment from 2006 to 2016 is analyzed.Next,the geography concentration model,geo-information tupu theory and geo-information technology are combined to explore the relationship between Guangxi's economic growth and resource environment.According to analysis results of the relationship between resource environment and economic growth,indexes to evaluate the decoupling relationship are adopted.Finally,the Taipo decoupling model is used to evaluate the decoupling status between Guangxi's economic growth and resource environment.The decoupling degree coefficient between Guangxi's economic growth and resource environment is quantitatively analyzed.Meanwhile,the tupu analysis is combined to visually demonstrate the spatial variation rules of the decoupling degree between regional economic development and resource environment.The decoupling relationship between Guangxi's economic development and resource environment is comprehensively discussed from the perspective of time and space.Research results suggest:(1)Economic development can exert a huge pressure on occupancy of the resource environment.The spatial aggregation degree of the two demonstrates certain degree of similarity.Places with a higher regional economic aggregate also present a higher resource consumption and resource occupancy,which generate more waste emissions.On the contrary,places with a higher regional economic aggregate arefound with a lower resource consumption and resource occupancy,which generate fewer waste emissions.Changes of the regional economic development and resource environment are,to some extent,positively correlated.(2)From 2006 to 2016,the relationship between Guangxi's water resource utilization and economic growth undergoes three periods,including strong decoupling,weak decoupling and expansive decoupling.The decoupling relationship between the total water consumption and the regional GDP,the farmland irrigation water use and the primary industry's GDP is dominated by strong decoupling,while the decoupling relationship between the industrial water use and the non-agricultural regional GDP is chiefly characterized by weak decoupling.On the whole,the impact of economic development on the water resource utilization alleviates.From 2006 to 2016,the decoupling relationship between Guangxi's land resource utilization and economic growth undergoes the alternative period between strong decoupling and weak decoupling.Meanwhile,the contribution of the construction land use exerts a significant influence on economy,meaning that land resources still have a huge influence on economy.From 2006 to 2016,the relationship between Guangxi's ecological environment and economic growth experiences the period of strong decoupling,weak decoupling,expansive decoupling,and expansive negative decoupling,respectively.Apart from the strong decoupling relationship between the industrial SO2 emissions and the second industry's GDP,the decoupling status among the remaining ecological environment indexes alternates between different decoupling statuses.This suggests that the industrial economic development is reliant on the ecological environmental changes.(3)From 2006 to 2016,the best comprehensive decoupling relationship between the water resource utilization and the economic growth is found in Yulin,Wuzhou,Baise,Qinzhou and Beihai.The strong decoupling and the weak decoupling dominate.The internal variations of other cities are relatively significant.The regional economic development can impose certain burden on water resource use.From 2006 to 2016,the preferable comprehensive decoupling relationship between land resource use and economic growth is found in Yulin,Wuzhou,Liuhou,Guilin,Guigang,Chongzuo,Nanning and Qinzhou.The alternation between the strong decoupling and the weak decoupling dominates.Among them,the strong decoupling period of Guilin,Guigang and Qinzhou accounts for more than 50% of the research period.On the whole,the decoupling degree between the regional economic growth and land resource use changes is not significant.From 2006 to 2016,the optimal comprehensive decoupling relationship between ecological environmental changes and economic development is found in Yulin,Guilin,Nanning and Liuzhou.The decoupling index variation between ecological environmental changes and economic growth of the remaining cities is still significant.The decoupling index is relatively low and the decoupling degree is unstable.This means the economic growth has a huge impact on environmental changes.
