The offshore projects are systematic and complex projects.As the shipping industry is running low since the year of 2008 and the offshore market is also went down for the low oil price,the relevant company is facing a lot challenge and opportunity.Developing new products,upgrading technology,enhancing product quality is the most important and urgent aim of shipyards and relevant companies.This thesis investigated the quality control of offshore projects.Based on C company as one of the offshore building companies,analyzed the existing problems in project quality,discussed the feasible means of improving it.This thesis analyzed C company's offshore project quality control and pointed out that it takes more attention to inspections and problem solving instead of quality planning,training,as well as the process quality control.At the same time,the following problems is also discussed: employees' unstable,the shortage and unclear of quality index,inspection mismatch with construction,mass quality data,re-work caused by poor quality which normally accompanied by hurry and cheap,the overwhelming dependent on inspection feed back,etc.Based on the work of C company's JU project,the thesis shared the opinions of enhancing project quality plan including new quality index,the TQC to be take part in all project stages,quality training and personal stabilizing,applying mechanical completion system,insisting on “Quality Control Moves Forward” and “Quality Control Informational”.This Thesis provides reference for improving offshore project quality control and raise the competition capability of Chinese offshore enterprises.
