The Linkage Research On The Relationship Between Urbanization Process And Resource, Environment In Guiyang City

Urbanization is a significance symbol of the modernization of the state,which the road to modernization much depends on the resource environmental foundation of the urbanization area.The Urban sprawl,the increased dramatically of population,the adjustment of industrial structure and the increased demand for water and soil resources in the process of urbanization aggravated the contradiction of the relations between people and land and between people and water.At the same time,the environmental pollution caused by land-use change,resource consumption and waste discharge in the urbanization process has also affected the quality of urbanization development.How to understand,rationalize and construct the healthy and sustainable coupling coordination relationship between urbanization and resource environment has become the focus of urban managers,researchers and urban residents.Based on the above background,thesis selected Guiyang as the study subjects,and based on the statistics of urbanization and resource environment from 1990 to 2015,14 indicators were selected from the urbanization perspective of population,economy,society and land to constructing evaluation index system of urbanization,then 10 indicators were selected from the perspective of resource support,environmental stress and environmental protection to constructing evaluation index system of resource environment.The coupling coordination relationship and its evolution characteristics of Guiyang were analyzed by the gray relational model and the coupling coordination model,and the factors that restrict urbanization and resources environment were quantitatively.Major achievements are as follows:(1)The comprehensive indicator of urbanization in Guiyang City increased from 0.20 in 1990 to 0.86 in 2015,indicating an obvious increase in urbanization.The level of urbanization shows obvious stage characteristics,which slowly declined from 1990 to 1995.After 1996,the level of urbanization is increasing yearly.Population,economy,and land urbanization are the main driving forces for the process of urbanization,and economic urbanization has gradually become dominant.(2)Since the city of Guiyang was founded,the urban area has been expanding continuously,especially after the Reform and Opening,the rate of urban expansion has been characterized by slow expansion,rapid expansion,stepwise expansion and highspeed expansion.From Yuan Dynasty to Before liberation,the urban areas mainly expanded to the north and southeast.In the 60s-80 s of the 20 th century,the urban expansion speeded up,which focus on expansion in the east,northwest,and south with the main downtown area in space.In the 80s-90 s of the 20 th century,the urban area expanded inwardly and outwardly on the boundary of the urban contour.From 1990 to 2015,the urban expansion was centered on the old city,which was mainly filled expansion and external expansion,and the main expansion direction is Jinyang New District in the northwest direction.Guiyang has formed a development situation of “Eastern Expansion,West Link,South Extension,North Extension” in 2015.(3)The comprehensive indicator of resources and environment in the process of urbanization has increased from 0.47 to 0.70,showing an overall increase trend,and the urbanization and resource and environment indicators showing a non-parallel development trend.The resource support indicator increased from 0.24 to 0.36 and the process of urbanization was supported by resource consumption.The environmental pressure indicator dropped from 0.10 to 0.08,and the pressure of the eco-environment in the urban process has gradually increased,and resource consumption and pollutant emissions increase the pressure and risk of urban environment.The environmental protection indicator increased from 0.09 to 0.26,showing a fluctuating upward trend,and environmental protection efforts continued to increase.(4)Urbanization is closely related to the resources environment in the process of urbanization,and the degree of correlation of them varies from 0.54 to 0.68,being in moderate-higher correlation.With the continuous development of the social economy,the relationship between urbanization and resources environment has been characterized by fluctuations,and the level of urbanization is constrained by regional resource conditions,pollution loads,and environmental protection levels.(5)The coupling degree of urbanization and resources environment varies from0.46 to 0.50,being in antagonism and showing a transition to the running-in phase,which indicates that urbanization development and resources environment have not achieved the status of mutual promotion.(6)The coupling coordination degree of urbanization and resources environment varies from 0.31 to 0.62,being in transition from low to high coordination and showing obvious phase characteristics.While the adjustments of administrative regionalization and industry structure in the process of urbanization are the principle factors which influenced the coupling coordination relationship of urbanization and resources environment.
