Programme for International Student Assessment(PISA)In the year of 2015,it shows,The ranking of the union which includs Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangs,Guangdong glide to the tenth.Science achievements show significant declines,So the education field pay more attention to it.In order to know the situation of science education,this research mainly focus on The Inquiry-based science teaching an learning practices and science achievements,relationship of cross-cultural research Interest in broad science topics,it is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction.First,the background of the research,including science education reform,the background relationship between scientific inquiry and scientific interest,scientific achievement,and the data source of this study-PISA2015 test data.Then the concept of scientific inquiry learning,scientific interest,scientific achievements,cross-cultural research and the program of international student assessment(PISA)were defined.Finally,the question is raised.The second part is literature review,through the understanding of literature review at home and abroad for scientific inquiry and scientific achievements,science inquiry and research status quo of scientific interest,and understand the problems that still exist in the study.The third part is research design.Firstly,this study was selected to study the cross-culture of scientific data in four provinces,Hong Kong,the United States,Finland and Japan.Then,the research methods of this study were analyzed by literature method,data analysis method and comparative method.On the selection of variables,the science inquiry as the independent variable of this research,the scientific achievements and scientific interest as the dependent variable,at the same time control students’ gender,family,social economic and cultural status,science classroom discipline and self-efficacy four background variables,to study scientific inquiry and scientific achievements,the relationship between the scientific interest.The fourth part is the result analysis and discussion.This study will from the descriptivestatistical analysis of the five countries in gender,family social economic and cultural status,science classroom discipline,self-efficacy,scientific inquiry,scientific interest,scientific achievements the seven variables of the size of the situation.Then the relationship between scientific inquiry and scientific achievement,scientific inquiry and scientific interest is analyzed through regression model.At the same time,the discussion section will also compare the trend of scientific achievement change from 2006 to 2015.The results show that scientific inquiry has a significant negative relationship with scientific achievement,and scientific inquiry has a significant positive relationship with scientific interest.The intercultural studies in five countries are consistent and unique.Through the analysis of consistency and particularity,it brings inspiration and Suggestions to Chinese science education.The fifth part is the reflection of this study,the deficiency in this study and the prospect of future research.
