Research On Vegetable Production Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors In Heilongjiang Province

At present,the vegetable industry has become a pillar industry in China.It plays an important role in increasing the income of farmers in China and accelerating the pace of rural development.It also plays a very important role in Chinese agricultural development.In recent years,Heilongjiang Province has made remarkable achievements in the development of vegetable industry.The vegetable industry occupies an important position in Heilongjiang Province and ranks secondly in agricultural production in Heilongjiang Province.The pu rpose of this paper is to provide effective countermeasures and suggestions,optimize the allocation structure of input factors,and improve the production efficiency of vegetables in Heilongjiang Province through the calculation of vegetable production efficiency and the analysis of influencing factors.The theoretical significance of this research is: it enriches the research on the input-output theory vegetable production efficiency and its influencing factors,and has certain reference significance for the research on vegetables and other cash crops in Heilongjiang Province.The practical significance of this research is: it is beneficial to improving the production efficiency of vegetables in Heilongjiang Province,changing the production mode of vegeta bles,increasing the output of vegetables,ensuring the safety of vegetable supply,and promoting the healthy development of vegetable industry and rural economy.The research contents are as follows: Firstly,based on the development background of the vegetable industry in Heilongjiang Province and the practical significance of increasing the production of vegetables,this paper sorts out the domestic and international research results in terms of production efficiency and its influence factors and defines the basic concepts of efficiency,production efficiency and vegetable production efficiency,theoretical analysis of production efficiency and the influencing factors by means of input-output theory,producer behavior theory,technical benefit theory and economic growth theory.Secondly,systematically analyzed the situation of vegetable production in Heilongjiang Provinc e.It was found that the vegetable plant area and output of Heilongjiang Province is small and there is still a large development space.Thirdly,the data envelopment analysis method is used to measuring the vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province,and analyzing it from the vertical and horizontal perspectives.And then,using Tobit model,six variables affecting vegetable production efficiency were selected from the aspects of production factor input and economic factors,and the factors affecting vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province were analyzed.Finally,according to the analysis results,the countermeasures and suggestions to improve vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province can be put forward: optimization of rural labor resources,optimize fertilizer input vegetable production,strengthen vegetable advanced production technology,improve the mechanized level of production of vegetables,ensure a sound policy for the safety of vegetable production,stable vegetable price index.According to the research results,the following conclusions are drawn: In 2004-2017,the vegetable production efficiency of Heilongjiang Province was low,ranging from 0.583 to 0.837,and it was characterized by stage fluctuations.Labor input,mechanized input,and market price have significant effects on vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province.Land input,capital investment,and technology input have no significant effects on vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province.Reasonable allocation of vegetable production factors input and understanding vegetable market timely are critica l to improving vegetable production efficiency in Heilongjiang Province.
