With the advancement of science and technology,the development of 3D GIS technology has also entered the fast lane.In a long period of time,3D GIS will be a hot spot in GIS research.Taking the North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower(Longzihu Campus)as an example,this paper creates a three-dimensional digital campus information management system based on 3D GIS technology,and describes the design ideas and implementation steps of the system,including three-dimensional modeling and GIS.Key technologies such as secondary development.Firstly,the system is analyzed for requirements.On this basis,the overall design,functional design and geodatabase design of the system are carried out.Then use 3DS MAX 3D modeling software to create campus terrain models,such as libraries,teaching buildings,cultural halls and other major buildings,and texture mapping of the main building models;application of TIN terrain data in ArcScene to create campus 3D terrain The model is matched with the 3D terrain model to construct a complete 3D digital campus model.Based on C# and ArcEngine development environment,the 3D digital campus information management system of North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower(Longzihu Campus)was developed,which realized data loading,scene browsing,path query,spatial information and attribute information interactive query,spatial analysis and information management.And other functions.The three-dimensional digital campus information management system can vividly display the campus style of North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower(Longzihu Campus),providing users with a new way to understand the campus culture and provide information management and planning for the campus.Auxiliary decision support.
