The rapid development of the social economy has caused ecological problems such as continued shortage of resources and deteriorating environment.The land space in most regions has presented a disorderly development state.Under the background of the rapid increase in population and the further contradiction between human and land relations,land space optimization has become the overall plan for coordinating economic development,environmental protection and sustainable utilization of resources,which has important guiding significance in controlling resources,protecting the environment and promoting economic development.The optimization of the national land space of the region is undoubtedly based on the study of the carrying capacity of resources and environment,and comprehensive consideration should be given to factors such as natural landforms,resources,environment and population.Genhe City is located in the northwest slope of the Daxinganling area,and in the northeast part of Inner Mongolia.It is a typical forest resource-based city.This paper summarizes and analyzes the research results of resource and environment carrying capacity,and combines the actual situation of Genhe City to divide the resource and environmental carrying capacity into the resource and environment constraints system carrying capacity and the supporting system carrying capacity.Taking the grid as the unit and using Arc10.2 software,five factors are selected to superposition analysis the carrying capacity of the resource and environment constraints system,and the superposition results are divided into five levels.Taking the administrative region as the unit,nine index factors are selected from the three aspects of“resource-environment-economy” to comprehensively analyze the carrying capacity of the resource and environmental support system,and the results are divided into three levels.The division results of the carrying capacity of the resource and environment constraints system and the supporting system are filled into the matrix,and the land space of Genhe City is divided into six different functional areas through matrix judgment.Through the judgment of six different functional areas,the land space of Genhe City is divided into living,production and ecological space.The results show that the ecological space is the most important land space in Genhe City,covering an area of 1,800.77 km2,which is 90.00% of the total area of Genhe City;the living space has the smallest land area of 72.50 km2,accounting for only 0.36% of the total area of Genhe City.The production space covers an area of 1929.79 km2,which is 9.64% of the total area of Genhe City.Different development suggestions and optimization measures are proposed for different spaces,and finally realize the optimization of the land space of Genhe City.
