The electromagnetic pulse has steep front edge,narrow pulse width,high amplitude and wide frequency band.The strong electromagnetic pulse released instantaneously can be coupled with electronic equipment and integrated circuit through multiple channels,causing the electrical and electronic products to be out of control or even burned.With the continuous development of electromagnetic weapons,electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility technology,electromagnetic pulse and its protection have attracted the attention of many scholars and researchers.Therefore,the development of electromagnetic pulse simulator for experimental analysis,observation and prediction of the anti-interference ability of electronic systems in complex electromagnetic environment has important value.Based on the analysis of the feasibility of the electromagnetic pulse simulator,this thesis develops a double-exponential electromagnetic pulse source with a leading edge of less than 10 ns,a half-height width of about 1 us,and an output voltage of 0~40 kV.The specific work content and results are as follows:The simulation analysis of the double exponential pulse circuit is carried out with MATLAB,and the influence of each component parameter on the pulse waveform is analyzed to determine the capacitance and matching absorption load.The electric field of gas switches with different shapes,radiis and spacings is simulated with the electric-magnetic software ANSYS based on finite element method.The main parameters of the gas switching device were calculated and a hemispherical head gap adjustable gas switch was designed.Aiming at the requirement of energy storage capacitance charging power supply in electromagnetic pulse source,a set of miniaturized and high stability DC high voltage charging power supply is developed,in which STM32 single chip microcomputer is the control core and remote control is achieved by VB interface.In order to make the electromagnetic pulse source operates more safety and steadily,the high voltage protection and self-interference are designed in the electromagnetic pulse source system.The developed electromagnetic pulse source is tested under single-trigger and continuous trigger mode.At the same time,the effects of different absorption load,discharge gap and working pressure on the output characteristics of the pulse source were tested.The test results show that the electromagnetic pulse source has an average front edge of 8.3 ns,a full width at half maximum of 1.05 us,an amplitude of 0~40kV,and a repetition frequency of 330 Hz,which meets the requirements of technical specifications and can be applied to analyze and test electromagnetic protection performance of electronic and electrical products.
