Boletes belong to Agaricomycetes,Basidiomycota. There are over 1300 species worldwide in nore than one hundred genera, including agaricoid and gasteroid basidiomata. The Boletes are economicly and ecologicaly important fungi. In this study, northeastern China was used as the research site and boletes specimens were collected from the National Nature Reserves of Jilin,Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia for two consecutive years.Specimens were deposited in the Herbarium of Jilin Agriculture University(HMJAU)and the Herbarium of Kunming Institute of Botany,Chinese Academy of Sciences(KUN).Morphological observations and molecular phylogenetic studies were performed on 175 specimens. The result revealed that the boletes in northeastern China belong to four families(Boletaceae,Suillaceae,Gomphidiaceae and Gyroporaceae),including 24 genera and 41 species.Three new species: Retiboletus sinogriseus Yan C.Li & T.Bau,sp.nov?Retiboletus sp.and Hortiboletus aurantiacus Yan C.Li,H.Y.Liu & T.Bau,sp.nov.;one new record from China: Tylopilus himalayanus D.Chakr.,K.Das & Vizzini;and 12 new records in northeastern China: Aureoboletus zangii X.F.Shi & P.G.Liu?Chiua olivaceoreticulata Y.C.Li & Zhu L.Yang?Gyroporus purpurinus Singer ex Davoodian & Halling?Harrya chromipes(Frost)Halling et al.?Hourangia nigropunctata(W.F.Chiu)Xue T.Zhu & Zhu L.Yang?Imleria parva Xue T.Zhu & Zhu L.Yang?Lanmaoa asiatica G.Wu & Zhu L.Yang?Strobilomyces seminudus Hongo?Suillellus subamygdalinus Kuan Zhao & Zhu L.Yang?Sutorius flavidus G.Wu & Zhu L.Yang?Tengioboletus reticulatus G.Wu & Zhu L.Yang?Xerocomus fulvipes Xue T.Zhu & Zhu L.Yang.,were revealed.A detailed morphological description, micromorphological line drawings and photographs of species from northeastern China were provided and a key for northeastern boletes was also provided.Based on combined ITS and LSU sequences, phylogenetic analysis of boletes from northeastern China were performed using maximum likelihood method and Bayesian analysis. The two methods produced similar topological structures.Phylogenetic results show that the collected boletes could be divided into four clades and corresponding to four families, namely Suillaceae,Gomphidiaceae,Boletaceae and Gyroporaceae;one new record from China Tylopilus himalayanus, and three new speices belong to Retiboletus and Hortiboletus were highly supported in the molecular phylogenetic analysis.
