Relative to the traditional technology of ceramic decoration, the ink-jet printing technology can output design at will by use computer software,so this technology have highly concern in our country. But compared with traditional printing technology the ink-jet printing have high standards in particle size distribution?mean?size?morphology and dispesibility as well as the synthesis of the ceramic ink,the domestic ceramic ink relys on import because the research on ceramic ink is later in china.we need to speed up the development domestic ink so that the ink-jet printing technology can popularize in ceramic industry. This article use reverse-phase microemulsion method to synthesize nano-CoAl2O4 precursor, then calcinations.aluminum chloride[AICl3]and cobalt chloride[CoCl2 ·6H2O]were used as sources of cobalt and aluminum, the colorimeter,XRD,SEM and micro spectrometer were used to investigate the sample.we also investigate the effect of the amount of surfactant?oil phase?reaction temperature and the ratio of Co:Al.The result indicate that the lower calcinations temperature, the lower crystallization,Calcinated at 1100? at a rate of 10?per minutes can reach spinel cobalt blue pigment with good color and the crystal structure is relatively complete. When the ratio of Co:Al is 1:3,the cobalt blue pigment have better color, good dispersion and the Lab value is(L*=46.27,a*=3.9,b*=-44.47).Blue ceramic ink was prepared by dispersion method, investigate the influence of the type of dispersant, grinding time, organic solvent, scanning electron microscope, laser particle analyzer, colormeter, viscometer, surface tension meter,pH meter were selected to characterize the blue ceramic ink.also discuss the required parameter of ink-jet process.
