Studies On Chemical Constituents And Pharmacological Activity Of The Combretum Alfredii Hance And Polyalthia.obliqua Hook.f.& Thomson

Two parts are involved in this dissertation : The studies on the chemical constituents of Combretum.alfredii hance and the studies on the chemical constituents of Polyalthia.obliqua Hook.f.& Thomson.The chemical structures were established on the basis of the extensive spectroscopic data analysis and by the comparison with spectroscopic data analysis and by the comparison with spectroscopic data reported in the literure.Thirty compounds were identified.The C.alfredii hance belongs to Combretaceae of Combretum.It has been used as Chinese folk medicine for the treatment of invigorating stomach,expelling parasite.Twenty-three compounds(1-23)were isolated from the branches and leaves of the C.alfredii hance.They were identified as: 2,3-dimethyl-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-6,7-dihydroxynaphthale(1),dehydroguaiaretic acid(2),3,3?,4?-tri-O-methylellagic acid(3),3,3?-di-O-methylellagic acid(4),acetylation cinnamophilin(5),(22E)-5?,8?-epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3b-ol(6),stigmasta-3,6-dione(7),suberosol(8),methyl arjunolate(9),2?,3?,23-trihydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic(10),masilinic acid(11),methyl 1?,2?,3?,19?-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oate(12),stigmasterol(13),?-daucosterol(14),4,5-dihydroblumenol(16),9(S)-4-oxo-7,8-dihydro-?-ionol(17),(3S,4R)-3-carboxy-2-methylene-heptan-4-olide(18),vanillil(19),syringaldehyde(20),vanillin(21),ethyl laurate(22),hexade alcohol(23).The compound 1 was new lignans compound.Compounds 2?5-8?16-19 were fistly isolated from this genus.The test showed that new compound 1 exhibited activity against M.tetragenus with MIC values of 1.25 ?g/m L.The are about 200 species of P.obliqua Hook.f.& Thomson in the world,only17 species are distributed in the china and the P.obliqua Hook.f.& Thomson is endemic plant in hainan province.There were a series of compounds isolated from the genus Polyathia,such as terpenoids and alkaloids.From the P.obliqua Hook.f.&Thomson,identified seven compounds,respectively(-)-8-oxo-2,9,10-trihydroxy-3-methoxyberberine(24),azabenzanthrone(25),lysicamine(26),liriodenine(27),hydroxyonychine(28),7-Hydroxy-1-4-azafluoren-9-one(29),isooncodine(30).Compounds 24 for the new berberine compounds.Compounds 24 and 27 of the isolated from this genus for the first time,Compound 24 to 30 showed weak cytotoxic activities against Hela and MCF-7 human cancer cell lines.
