The growth of production is a double-edged sword,which has improved the quality of life,also caused severe environmental pollution,especially water pollution.Therefore,the treatment and recycling of sewage is very important for us.Polyacrylamide which is known as "all business additives",as a kind of linear macromolecular compound with good solubility in water and flocculent performance,has been widely used for sewage treatment.Inverse emulsion polymerization has formed "water-in-oil(W/O)" emulsions,which has adopted oil phase as a continuous phase,with the help of surfactant to disperse monomer in the oil phase and with(NI-14)2S2O8-NaHSO3 as initiator.'The advantages which are low viscosity of reaction system,high and smooth speed of reaction,quick heat dissipation,high molecular weight of product and good solubility in water,make synthesis of polyacrylamide by the inverse emulsion polymerization become a hot issue in current research.The main job of this paper is the synthesis of P(AM/DMDAAC/AA)as amphoteric flocculants and P(AM/DAC)as cationic flocculants by inverse emulsion method with Span80 and Tween60 as emulsifier,(NH4)2S2O8-NaHSO3 Redox system as initiator and 5#white oil as dispersed medium.The white powder which has been gotten by quick emulsion breaking is dried at 45 ? in vacuum drying oven for 5 h,then is used to study heating stability and structure by thermogravimetry and infrared spectrum.The influences of dosage of initiator?emulsifier and monomer,reaction temperature,HLB value of surfactant and W/O quality ratio on intrinsic viscosity have studied by testing intrinsic viscosity of polyacrylamide.The better synthetic condition of amphoteric polyacrylamide is educed:reaction temperature is 38 ?;HLB value is 8.0;emulsifier content is 5.6%;initiator content is 0.2%;the ratio of-the quantity of(NH4)2S2O8 and NaHSO3 is 7:3;W/O quality ratio is 1:0.8;monomer content is 35%;mAM:mDM:mAA=35:50:15;reaction time is 5 h.Based on this,this paper has just studied the influence of the type of cationic monomer,monomer content and the quality ratio of monomer on synthesis of cationic polyacrylamide.The conclusions are educed:we select DAC as cationic monomer;monomer content is 25%;mDAC:mAM=3:7.This paper introduces application of two kinds of flocculants which we haved synthesized in pulp.The conclusions are educed:the mass fraction is 1 ‰,dosage of AmPAM is 3.5 mL,pH is 4,removal rate of turbidity is 90.15%;the mass fraction is 1‰,dosage of CPAM is 3.5 mL,pH is 2,removal rate of turbidity is 96.87%.
