Research On Flotation Separation Of Shuiyindong Gold Ore

The micro-fine dissminated mineral smelting and primary ore from the Shuiyindong district in Guizhou province is carlin-type gold deposit.And that the micro-fine particle gold is packaged by pyrite and arsenopyrite to contact difficultly with leaching agent.Therefore it is necessary to exploit an efficient and clean separation process for recover gold.In this paper,as the main research object of single mineral flotation test,some collecting agents such as potassium ethylxanthate,kbx,isobutyl xanthate,butylamine aero float was carried out.Collecting ability is as follows:butylamine aerofloat,kbx,isobutyl xanthate,potassium ethylxanthate.By the collector dosage is 1.2×10-4mol/L;sodium hydroxided and calcium hydroxide were applied to adjust the ore pulp.The results show that the inhibitory effect of calcium hydroxide is better than sodium hydroxide.Under the system of butyl xanthate,simple activator such as oxalic acid,copper sulfate,aluminium sulfate,ammonium bicarbonate,ammonium carbonate,ammonium chloride,ammonium sulfate were used to activate pyrite which is inhibited by calcium hydroxide or not.The best is oxalic acid.Then,some simple activators is combined to activate pyrite without lime,which is consist of the combination of ammonium bicarbonate and oxalic acid,the combination of ammonium bicarbonate and aluminum sulfate,the combination of oxalic acid and aluminum sulfate,the combination of ammonium chloride and aluminum sulfate,the combination of ammonium chloride and oxalic acid etc.The best is the combination of ammonium chloride and oxalic acid.The activation sequence under the mixture of pyrite and dolomite the is as follows:aluminum sulfate,copper sulfate,ammonium chloride,oxalic acid,ammonium carbonate,ammonium bicarbonate,ammonium sulfate.And the best combination among those combined activators is ammonium carbonate and cupric sulfate.The mechanism was detected by calculation of gibbs free energy,zeta potential,infrared spectroscopy and the results is as following:On one hand,the hydrotropic substances of Fe(OH)3,Fe(OH)2,Ca(OH)2 are cleared out.On other hand,they can reduce the slurry pH value,which can improve the bluyance rate of pyrite.The gold ore from the Shuiyindong district is flotated in the flowchart of directly grinding,the flowchart of stage grinding,the flowchart of destiming and taking off mud.The flowchart of destiming and taking off mud is proved the best.Then the main conditions tests as well as the closed-circuit and open-circuit were conducted and the stage grinding is better.The results of closed-circuit is as follows:pure mineral rate 17.42%,Au grade 46.02 g/t,the recovery rate of 66.89%;The results of open-circuit is as follows:pure mineral rate 22.9%,Au grade 42.29 g/t,the recovery rate of 86.03%.
