The deformation and failure behavior of deep rock mass is the precondition of its stability in tunnel support.The rock formation fracture zone occurs only on the surface after the excavation of the shallow tunnel,but surrounding deep tunnel there exists new scientific phenomenon,the zonal disintegration phenomenon of rupture area and intact area alternated with intervals in inner rock.From discovery to date,the issue of the existence,the condition and the mechanism of the zonal disintegration as well as the measures of the tunnel support still need to be further studied.In this research a series of numerical tests of zonal disintegration in rock mass around deep tunnel based on the understanding of heterogeneity of rock mass are carried out on the rupture process analysis system software RFPA3D.A lot of factors would affect on the zonal disintegration phenomenon.The research focus on several crucial of affecting factors,such as loading state,rock mass condition and shape of tunnel,to study the effects of different factors on the rules and mechanism of zoning fracture.From the distribution of the stress field and the crack propagation with the process of rock fracture,this paper bring a step closer to knowing the rules and mechanism of zoning fracture.It means significant.A preliminary numerical simulation system which could be a new method of research on zonal disintegration is constructed With the combination of advanced virtual reality technology.The contents of this paper are as follows.(1)considering that exist within the rock mass of large micropore cracks caused by the mechanical properties of the non uniformity,this thesis established numerical models to describe the complex crack propagation of statistical damage,which can be more realistic reflection of material inhomogeneous on zonal disintegration of influence.(2)Considering the mechanism of the failure of the zone,the failure mode of rock under different stress ratio is studied.(3)Numerical simulations are carried out for the fracture of the different roadway section and the different supporting structure to discussing the influences of the factors on the zonal disintegration.(4)The preliminary construction of the numerical simulation system,the combination of scientific computing and virtual display technology,is of great significance to further deepen the research on the zonal disintegration problem.
