Recent years,the rapid the rapid development of the liquefied natural gas industry has promoted the vigorous development of the LNG industry.In the inland areas of China,mainly transport mode of LNG is tanker highway transportation.Because of the LNG own characteristics,it is easy to cause fire and explosion accidents during transport,resulting in very serious consequences.Accordingly,studying on the risks and consequences of accidents during LNG tankers highway transportation has important implications for the sustainable development of LNG industry and the steady growth of the national economy.This paper takes LNG tanker highway transportation as the research object,firstly analyzes the risks during LNG tanker highway transportation.Based on the statistics of typical LNG tanker accidents in highway transportation,figure out the main consequences and the causes of the accidents.Then,used FTA method analyzes whose top events are LNG tank leakage and safety valve leakage and obtained the minimal cuts.Besides,structure importance of each basic event is sorted to find out which has the most influence on the occurrence of the top event.Based on Gaussian gas diffusion model theory,under the condition of static tanker instantaneous leakage,static tanker continuous leakage and mobile tanker continuous leakage,using MATLAB software programming,simulate LNG leakage and diffusion rules.By drawing LNG explosion concentration range and personnel may be subject to damage range under different leak time,different wind speed,different leakage,find out the relationship between diffusion law of LNG and these variables.Afterwards,using MATLAB and GUI user interface design to calculate and analyze three consequences which are BLEVE,VCE and jet fire cause by LNG leakage.Thus,a range of consequences of the accident hazards,dead zones,serious injury area,minor injuries and property damage zone size ranges are obtained.Finally,the control measures of LNG tanker highway transportation are put forward.On one hand,proposed LNG leakage preventive safety measures from three aspects which are technology,education and management.On the other hand,proposed emergency rescue principles and methods on LNG leakage and fire accidents during highway transportation,in order to provide reference for the development of a complete LNG highway transportation emergency plan.
