Because there are many factors affecting the sliding friction and wear process of metal,the main factors that affect the friction and wear are tested in this paper.In this paper,the friction coefficient,wear amount and wear mechanism of 45 steel under dry friction and oil lubrication under two working conditions are studied.The weight of friction,wear and impact of load,speed and roughness on 45 steel under two working conditions is studied.In this experiment,45 steel is used as grinding material.On the MMW-1A vertical universal wear tester,the friction and wear test of 45 steel is carried out under two conditions:dry friction and oil lubrication respectively.The selected factors are the load:30N,50N,70N;speed:30r/min,60r/min,90r/min;surface roughness:0.2pm,0.6p?m,1.1?m.Because further analysis of the orthogonal test results,we can the importance degree of each test factor to the test result and the influence trend of each factor on the test result,so this experiment is designed according to the orthogonal experiment.The friction coefficient of 45 steel was tested by MMW-1A vertical universal friction and wear tester.The wear amount of 45 steel was measured by electronic balance.The grinding surface and debris were observed by microscope and the friction and wear mechanism of 45 steel was analyzed.Under the condition of dry friction,the fluctuation of the friction coefficient of 45 steel decreases gradually with the increase of time,and the friction coefficient value increases first and then stays up and down within a certain range.With the increase of load,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction decreases and the wear volume increases.With the increase of rotational speed,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction increases and the wear volume increases.With the increase of surface roughness,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction decrease first and then decreases.Under the condition of oil lubrication,the friction coefficient fluctuation of 45 steel friction pairs is stable with the increase of time,and the friction coefficient value decreases first and then stays up and down within a certain range.With the increase of load,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction increases and the wear volume increases.With the increase of rotational speed,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction decreases and the wear volume decreases.With the increase of surface roughness,the average friction coefficient of 45 steel friction decreases and the wear volume increases.Under dry friction condition,the influence of load,speed and surface roughness on the friction coefficient of 45 steel is 57%,36%and 7%,respectively,and the weight of 45 steel is 51%,39%and 10%respectively.Under the condition of oil lubrication,the weight of load,speed and surface roughness on the friction coefficient of 45 steel are 89%,10%and 1%respectively,and the weight of 45 steel is 21%,10%and 69%respectively.Under dry friction condition,the friction and wear surface of a large number of furrows and flake adhesive marks,grinding surface oxidation phenomenon is obvious,friction and wear process produces a large number of wear debris,the main wear mechanism is adhesive wear,oxidation wear and abrasive wear.
