Urbanization is the product of our country's economic development.It is a social form that human beings must experience.It is also an important symbol of the level of modernization and the degree of social civilization.In particular,China's economic development is slowing down and entering a "new normal".Urbanization has become the fourth carriage to promote the sustained economic growth of our country after investment,consumption and export.The construction of urbanization in China has lasted for more than 60 years.The achievements of urbanization construction have been fruitful,but the environmental problems brought about by rapid urbanization have been a warning to people.In the process of urbanization,we have realized that the ecological environment is fragile and difficult to repair.It also determines that in the future economic development and urbanization construction,we can not unscrupulously claim and destroy the nature of our place.We must measure the boundary that it can bear,and seek development while giving consideration to the environment.In the process of urbanization,the impact of urbanization on environmental quality and the interaction effect between them are the focus of this paper.First of all,after combing the existing related literature and research results,this paper expounds the development and status of urbanization and environmental pollution,and analyzes the internal mechanism of the interaction between urbanization and environmental pollution.Secondly,the PVAR model is established by the panel data of 2004-2015 years and cities.The dynamic relationship between them is studied by cointegration test,impulse response function and variance decomposition,and the dynamic relationship of urbanization to environmental pollution is analyzed from the vertical angle.Then,the spatial measurement model of panel data is established by the panel data of 2004-2015 years and cities,and the spatial correlation between urbanization and environmental pollution after the consideration of spatial correlation is analyzed.The final conclusions are as follows:(1)There is a positive relationship between the development of urbanization andenvironmental pollution in China at the present stage,that is,the further development of urbanization will really aggravate the situation of environmental pollution.(2)From the dynamic relationship between urbanization and environmental pollution,the improvement of urbanization level will aggravate the local environmental pollution,but the duration is not lasting.From a long-term perspective,with the enhancement of environmental awareness and environmental protection of urban population,the negative effects of urbanization on environment will be reduced,and environmental pollution will be suppressed.(3)From the perspective of spatial relations,environmental pollution has obvious spatial correlation,and the main types of spatial agglomeration are "high to high","low high" and "low low".It can be found that there is a clear path dependence between environmental pollution.The "high-high" type is mainly concentrated in the eastern region,because of the rapid economic development in the eastern part of China,especially in the eastern and central China areas with heavy industrial development.The "low low" and "high low" type are mainly concentrated in the western region.It may be because the western region has slow economic development,sparsely populated,low level of industrialization and less pollutant emissions,leading to a high level of environmental quality.(4)There is a significant correlation between environmental pollution and other related variables in different provinces.At the present level of urbanization in China,economic growth can inhibit environmental pollution.There is a negative relationship between greening level and environmental pollution in urban area,and the increase of the proportion of the two or three industry will also aggravate the environmental pollution.Only the relationship between the level of science and technology and environmental pollution is not significant.In the direction of coefficient,the more environmental pollution of China's technological achievements is,the more the technical ability of our country has not reached the level of environmental pollution pollution.(5)The curve relationship between environmental pollution and urbanization in China is obviously "inverted N".All provinces in China have exceeded the firstcritical point,and all have not reached second critical points,and they are in the stage of aggravating environmental pollution with the development of urbanization.
