The Yangtze River Delta(YRD)region is the eastern economic circle which have largest economic aggregate and the greatest development potential in China.With the acceleration of industrialization in the YRD region,air pollution has become regional and compound pollution in recent years.As one of the main industries in YRD region,the petrochemical industry plays a very important role in air pollution emissions.Therefore,researching on the emission of air pollutants of petrochemical industry and analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics in YRD region are necessary,which can provide powerful support to the development of emission reduction measures.The emission factor and analogy methods were used to estimate major pollutant emissions of petrochemical industry in YRD region of the year 2014.Results showed that emissions of VOCs,SO2,NOx,PM10 and PM2.5 were respectively 452.0,236.9,119.7,93.0 and 48.9 kt.Considering the sub-industry distribution,for VOCs,petroleum refining and synthetic fiber manufacturing made contributions of 61.54%and 19.0%in emission.For SO2,coking and petroleum refining made contributions of 36.3%and 32.9%.For NOx,petroleum refining and coking were respectively 38.0%and 34.1%.For the emission of PM,petroleum refining and coking were respectively 64.5%and 28.1%.Basing on the mapping function of ArcGis,considering region distribution,Jiangsu discharged the most,followed by Zhejiang,Shanghai and Anhui.The emission of VOCs were mainly concentrated in Ningbo,Nanjing and Shanghai,the emission of SO2,NOx and PM were mainly concentrated in Shanghai,Nanjing,Ningbo and Xuzhou.By conducting on-site investigation,the application situation of pollutants control technologies of petrochemical industry in YRD region was analyzed,then evaluation objects were determined.On this basis,a comprehensive evaluation index system is established,with four indexes of technology,environment,economy and management,Furthermore,the experts' subjective advices are taken into consideration to settle the indexes' weights.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy evaluation method were used to evaluate the comprehensive performance of the VOCs disposal and recovery technologies with the aid of Yaahp,an AHP software.The results showed that regenerative catalytic oxidation(RCO)and regenerative thermal oxidation(RTO)with complete control systems had better comprehensive benefits in petrochemical industry,and the result of sensitivity analysis showed that the comprehensive advantage of RCO technology enhanced with the increase of environmental index.Membrane separation with high environmental and economic benefits was the best VOCs recovery technology,and can reach higher comprehensive benefit when combined with adsorption technology.Based on the comprehensive evaluation results,VOCs control technology application trend of petrochemical industry was analyzed,then recommendations of the comprehensive implementation of Leak Detection and Repair(LDAR)technology,controlling the storage and stevedoring damage,strengthening waste gas treatment and strengthening VOCs recovery and destruction were presented.
