The future development of oil and gas industry becomes complicated due to the drop in oil price and the impact of policy change of oil-producing countries.Company P is a subsidiaries of a renowned Chinese oil corporation,specialized in construction services of oil and gas facilities.As a pioneer following the ?Go Global? strategy in China,Company P?s international business developed rapidly.In the Middle East,the company?s contract accounted for almost half of all its international businesses within 10 years.However,with the high-speed growth of the businesses in the Middle East,its problems in market development have gradually exposed.To achieve sustained development while the oil prices may remain low for a long time,Company P is in urgent need of adjusting its market development strategy and strategy execution measures in the region.This paper firstly uses PEST,Five Forces model and SWOT analysis to evaluate Company P?s current stage of market development strategy in the Middle East region.After that,by the analyzing the preconditions,market chain management model is proposed for Company P to achieve its optimization on modular organizational structure,adjustment on the market development strategy in the region,selection of strategy,and construction of the assurance system for a successful execution of the strategy.
