V column is an important economic section steel in cold-formed steel.Compared with other steel sections,it has many advantages such as high dimensional accuracy,uniform section and good surface quality.It has been widely applied and recognized in all walks of life.Because the typical characteristics of roll forming process is three-dimensional nonlinear,it needs to undergo many times of forming rolls with different cross-section shapes to roll out(obtain)the desired shape.Its forming process is a very complex process.The complexity of the roll bending process leads to the development of the pass design and process path in production still depends on the experience knowledge.So to carry out the basic theory research,pass design of the V type column continuous roll forming and grasp the V type column continuous roll forming rule by simulating the forming process has important significance and practical value for design,research and energy saving of production process equipment of V column roll bendingBased on the characteristics of V type column continuous roll forming and the actual production requirements of enterprises,planning for the roll forming process of the V column.Based on the basic theory of roll forming technology to make a modularized analysis for mechanism of V type column roll forming process equipment,planning for the roll forming process of the V column,get the design drawings of the production line,draw two-dimensional drawings and establishment 3D models by using software.It provides technical guidance and theoretical support for the establishment and improvement of the V column roll forming system.A 3D elasto-plastic finite element simulation model of the continuous roll forming process of V type column is established by using Solidworks software and simulate the forming process of V column by AnsysWorkbench.The key problems such as cell selection,boundary condition treatment,friction type and springback are emphatically analyzed.According to the simulation results,the equivalent stress and equivalent strain law of the V-shaped column in different forming stages were explored,and the roll forming law of the metal material was revealed.The stress distribution cloud map and the strain distribution cloud diagram can be obtained:(1)During the deformation process of the sheet metal,the stress at the bending angle is greater than the stress at the rest,and the sheet material enters the elasto-plastic deformation stage.The stress at the edge of the sheet material is less than the stress at the bending angle.At this time,the deformation of the sheet material changes from elastic-plastic deformation to elastic deformation.(2)During the forming process,the stress at the bending part is relatively strong,the transverse strain value is much larger than the longitudinal strain value,and the forming of the V-shaped pillar is the result of the lateral deformation of the sheet material.The sheet plastically deforms in the lateral direction near the bend angle,while only elastic strain occurs in the longitudinal direction.Finally,Transient Structural(ABAQUS)was used to calculate and analyze the springback of the formed sheet,and the excess bending method was used to reduce the springback in the design.It proves the theoretical basis for the optimize the roll forming process,the pass design of the rolled roll and the calculation of the rebound quantity.
