A Study Of Traditional Chinese Tie Dyeing Craft

In this paper,the traditional Chinese textile printing process in the dyeing process is treated as the research object,mainly through the collation of related documents,physical remains and image information,to see the ancient Chinese garnishing technology research.The related Chinese characters and nouns were discussed,the technological characteristics and application problems were analyzed,some reasons for their spread from generation to generation were summarized,and some techniques of pattern display were tested.The relative credible and full history of technology and culture has been studied,which makes people have a better understanding of the traditional Chinese tie dyeing craft.The Chinese character "Xie",which was specially made for the tie dyeing process,not only became the general name of the resist printing process in ancient China,but also gave rise to other meanings after the appearance of the Southern and Northern dynasty.This paper analyzes the "Xie" of many documents from the literature related to "Xie",especially the literature of Tang and Song dynasties,and finds that most of the words are directed at the tie dyeing,thus increasing the multi-directional understanding of the dyeing.At present,the amount of unearthed cultural relics of tie-dyed is relatively small,and the storage area is scattered.A more detailed list of cultural relics is collated in the paper,and the relevant images is collected under inspection,to obtain some specific process information.At the same time,it is pointed out that although the physical object is important,because of the small sample size,only mutual verification and supplement with the literature and images,can we get closer to the truth of history.The requirement of production condition is low,and the pattern with strong aesthetic feeling can be presented,which is the main reason why it can be widely spread.On the basis of the analysis of its beauty three kinds of ancient Chinese tie dyeing patterns were reproduced through technological experiments,and its own understanding was put forward combined with the current environment,the inheritance and development of the tie dyeing craft.
