The Application Of Traditional Dyeing Handicraft In Modern Wall Hanging

Tie-dye is a traditional folk handicraft art in China,with strong national characteristics.Due to the rapid development of economy in recent decades,the industrial production has gradually replaced the traditional handicraft industry,resulting in the stagnation of many traditional handicrafts.Therefore,most of the traditional tie-dye handicrafts are now concentrated in relatively remote minority areas,which are strongly influenced by regional culture and strongly imply folk customs,which are incompatible with the development of modern society.In the globalization today,due to the mutual impact of the domestic and foreign culture fusion,people have changed the attitude that only pay attention to practical design concept,increasingly attaching importance to the combination of culture and spirituality and paying more attention to artistic appreciation value and aesthetic temperament and interest.However,the traditional tie-dye handicraft is only limited to the application of practical forms such as clothing,accessories and household goods,which cannot meet the modern diversified aesthetic needs.This paper discusses how to solve such problems.Firstly,the paper studies the artistic features of tie-dye handicraft,and analyzes the three elements of craft,color and pattern.Secondly,the paper does some researches of traditional tie-dye wall hangings at home and abroad.Due to the influence of regional culture and spatial environment,the application of decoration form and color is contrary to modern space.Thirdly,the trend of popularization,diversification and internationalization of modern wall hanging art was analyzed and studied.The paper deeply analysis the approach to innovation of traditional handicraft art form in modern wall hanging art.The paper summaries the conclusion from three aspects of space form,design modeling and color expression to provide new ideas for the innovation of the traditional tie-dye crafts development.From the appearance and the structure aspect,the attention and the overall space environment coordinate;In terms of content and form,it endows artistic appeal and spiritual connotation,and constructs artistic works more in line with modern aesthetic value.Finally,the author applied the innovative way of traditional tie-dye craft to the design of the author's works in the modern wall hanging,and carried out the practical research on the innovative application.It is hoped that the research of this topic can help the traditional tie-dye craft get rid of the restriction of commercial value and endow it with the value of concept and creativity.It is worth bringing traditional handicrafts into the modern space environment and bringing traditional culture and national spirit to the modern space environment.
