Aza-organometallic complexes have a wide range of applications in many fields.For example,they are often used as the catalysts in organic reactions.Based on the full literature,the synthesis of aza-organometallic complexes and application in the a-keto acid ester henry reaction,cyanidation reaction and the reaction of benzamide and benzaldehyde are systematically reviewed.In one simple step method,reacting 3-hydroxy-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid with CoCl2·6H2O,CuCl2·2H2O,MnCl2·6H2O,and androus ZnCl2 in absolute methanol separately resulted in complexes(?)?(?).Additionally,from the reaction of 5,6-Biphenyl-3-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazine with anhydrous ZnCl2 and MnCl2·6H2O,1-(2-thiazolyl azo)-2-naphthol with CoCl2·6H2O in absolute methanol,and o-benzenediacetonitrile with Cu(OAc)2·H2O in absolute ethanol obtained the corresponding complexes(?)?(?).All of them are characterized by IR,elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction.The complexes(???)were then used as the catalysts to the Henry reaction of a-keto esters,cyanosilylation reaction and the reaction of benzamide and benzaldehyde.Among them,the complex(?)in the Henry reaction,the complex(?)in the cyanosilylation reaction,and the complex(?)and(?)in the reaction of benzamide and benzaldehyde achieved the best catalytic results,each of the conversion efficiency was respectively up to 99%,77%,97%.
