Fire tube type heater is a kind of heating equipment,which is widely used during the process of oil and gas gathering and transferring.The advantages of it are simple structure,easy manufacture and user-friendly control.It is widely used in oil fields.The main function of fire tube type heater is to heat the crude oil in the tube and it takes advantage of the different melting point of the crude oil to carry out the fractionation of the material.Universal characteristics of Industrial heater are bulky volume,part nonlinearity and complex distribution,as well as fire tube type heater.As a result,it makes trouble in the process of controlling the fire tube type heater.However,it is necessary to control automatically some parameters including temperature,pressure,flux and fluid-station in the heater,especially for the temperature control,because temperature control can affect directly product quality and production efficiency.In this dissertation,the whole process control system would be designed for the fire tube type heater.It not only optimizes temperature of heater outlet by fuzzy control technology,but simulates temperature control of systematic workflow by MATLAB software and SIMULINK so as to improve control effect.Besides,in order to save energy,energy conservation and protection treatment also be addressed for the fire tube type heater.The simulation results show that this design can meet process requirements of the fire tube type heater's control system and control effect is good.Consequently,this design method is feasible which can be validated by actual operation of the production.
