Yuhuan is the biggest base to manufacture and export the brass valves in China, which is in Taizhou, Zhejiang provinces. It is expected that the whole industrial will produce about 20 billion RMB products. However, the heating equipment using in this industrial is very poor. The heat efficiency is very low, and it has no temperature controller, the working environment is so heavy. All in all, it affects the economy of the enterprises and wastes the energy so much.In view of the above, the following work is carried out in this paper.The heating method before forging, the cost of each energy, the current researches and their tendency of the theory on the temperature control are analyzed. The importance and difficulty of the research on the theory are also illustrated.Based on heating of the brass valves before forging, a new furnace is designed. Compared with the furnace materials, such as heat-resistant material, insulation material and so on. To reduce the loss of the heating diffuse and the heat capability.To analyze the heat transfer of the furnace with finite element method. To improve the structural of the furnace based the analysis of the temperature field and fluxes of the furnace, in order to reduce the heating diffuse.The mathematical model of the temperature prediction is set up, which calculates the working temperature. The temperature of the furnace is controlled by the fuzzy controller to catch up the working temperature.It is proved that the fuzzy control is fine in furnace and the mathematical model satisfied the need of production. It is known that the cost of the energy reduced to the half of the original, by 54%.Considering the heavy labor, an auto-feeding mechanism is designed. The decomposing of the whole function of the auto-feeding mechanism is finished. Changing the sub-function is followed to finish the design.
