With the development of economy,people's life and work style have a profound changes,the time people stay indoors has a tendency to continuously extend,in developed countries,people spend more than 80%?90%of one day to stay indoors.Healthy indoor spaces must be a low level of pollutants,and keep indoor air humidity within a proper range.Runner desiccant air conditioning system as a new form of air conditioning have been widely applied due to the ability to handle the latent heat load and the apparent heat load separately and the advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection.The rotating wheel is the core part of the rotary dehumidification air conditioning system,it can achieve both dehumidification and VOC purification at the same time,but at present,the research on the wheel is focused on dehumidification,and the research on the dehumidification and VOC purification is less.Therefore,the study of dehumidification and VOC adsorption on the rotating wheel was carried out.In this paper,the mathematical model of 2-D heat transfer and mass transfer adsorption is considered,which is only considering the influence of the diffusion of solids on the flow direction.The relationship between heat,humidity and VOC is revealed,and the VB program to solve this coupling problem is further developed,and the mathematical model is verified by experiment.On the basis of this,the coupling performance of dehumidification and VOC purification was carried out on the rotating wheel.The effects of multiple factors on dehumidification and VOC purification were explored.These factors include the thickness of the wheel,the speed of the rotation,the specific heat of the adsorption material,the temperature and humidity and the VOC concentration of the processing air inlet,the temperature and humidity of the regeneration air inlet,the air volume of the processing area,and the wind volume of the regeneration zone.The adsorbent selected here is silica gel,and VOC selected is toluene and 1,1,1-trichloroethane for analysis.The results are as follows:The influence of these factors on dehumidification and purification is different:The effect of increasing the thickness and speed of the rotating wheel on water and VOC adsorption is different,and the appropriate thickness and rotational speed should be considered to achieve the best dehumidification and VOC purification effect;In the study of several kinds of adsorption materials,the choice of smaller 921J/kg · k was better to dehumidification and VOC purification;The higher the air inlet temperature in processing area,the more unfavorable the absorption and regeneration of moisture and VOC;The increase of air inlet temperature in regeneration area can promote the adsorption and desorption of water and VOC;The increase of wind speed in the regeneration zone can promote the adsorption and desorption of water and VOC;In the study scope of this subject,the dehumidification of the rotating wheel occupies the main position,followed by the absorption of VOC.Different VOC is different due to its own adsorption characteristics,but they do not have a great influence on temperature and humidity,but they have a great influence on VOC itself.
