In this paper,a kind of light concrete hollow block with good thermal and mechanical properties has been developed by using high titanium slag.High titanium slag is produced when Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group smelt vanadium titanium magnetite,and the slag formed after natural cooling or hot splashing in the air.The accumulation of a large number of high titanium slag is the waste of resources.China has put forward the strategy of sustainable development.Many domestic scholars have proposed to incorporate industrial slag into concrete in order to reduce the exploitation of natural sand and stone.On the basis of previous research,this paper optimizes the mixture ratio and pass design of high titanium slag concrete hollow block,puts forward a kind of high titanium slag concrete hollow block with better performance,and studies the thermal and mechanical properties of the masonry masonry built by this block,which lays a theoretical foundation for the popularization of the block in the project.Taking the strength and density of concrete as control index,polypropylene fiber and polystyrene particles are added into concrete to improve the performance of concrete.I reasonably choose the level of variables in orthogonal test.The best mix proportion of lightweight high titanium slag concrete hollow block is determined by orthogonal test.Optimum hole of concrete hollow block is determined by theories analysis And the best pore shape was determined through theoretical analysis.Then two batches of lightweight and high titanium slag concrete hollow blocks were prepared,The compressive strength and heat resistance of the wall were measured respectively.The test results show that :The volume content of polystyrene particles,the ratio of water to binder and the content of polypropylene fiber have the most significant influence on the strength of lightweight high titanium slag concrete hollow block.The influence of cement grade and sand ratio on the strength of concrete hollow block is relatively limited,and there is a reasonable range to make the strength of high titanium slag concrete hollow block relatively high.The difference between the thermal resistance and the wall of the block is very large.The main reason is that the surface of the masonry wall is not coated with mortar,and the thermal conductivity of the masonry is close to the slag brick,and its density is lower than the slag brick.The compressive failure of the masonry is similar to that ordinary concrete hollow block masonry.
