In this paper,the billet head suspension of continuous casting silicon steel plate in a continuous casting production line of Ma'anshan Iron and Steel Co,Ltd.is studied.The mechanism of the continuous casting of silicon steel slab billet head suspend is studied and analyzed,and the factors affecting the billet head suspend of the silicon steel slab are also studied.The analysis and calculation are carried out.Based on the results obtained from the research and analysis of the billet head suspend of the silicon steel billet blank,a set of auxiliary straightening mechanism,the pallet straightening mechanism,is designed in conjunction with the production line.When the billet head suspension of the silicon steel slab occurs,the billet is straightened by the pallet mechanism,so that the billet is returned to the horizontal transport position to ensure smooth production.This paper establishes the temperature model and stress-strain model of continuous casting silicon steel plate,calculates the heat transfer of the slab in the air-cooled area,describes the relationship between the stress and strain of the slab at high temperature,and establishes the mathematical model of the silicon steel billet.The theoretical value of the billet head overhang at the corresponding moment of the silicon steel slab is analyzed.The finite element analysis of the silicon steel slab is carried out using the finite element software ANSYS.The analysis results were basically consistent with the field measurement results.The analysis results show that:(1)The billet head suspension is positively related to the silicon content.That is,the silicon steel with a relatively high silicon content has a greater amount of billet suspension;(2)Steel types other than silicon steel;The Sinking amount of the suspension is small and can be neglected;(3)under the same conditions,the faster speed of silicon steel is,the greater the amount of suspension of the billet head is.Based on the conclusions of the research on the mechanism of the billet head suspension of the silicon steel slab,a set of pallet mechanism is used to straighten the slab billet head according to the conditions and production site.The SOLIDWORKS was used to simulate the running process of the designed pallet mechanism.Designed the movement and control requirements of the pallet mechanism.The research shows that gravity is the only external force for the suspension of silicon steel in continuous casting.The silicon content and temperature are the main factors that affect the suspension of the silicon steel slab.Through the research andanalysis of the billet head suspension of the silicon steel billet head and the improvement of the design project,the practical problems of the project are solved,and the billet head for the research on the billet head suspension of the silicon steel billets was filled.
