Design Of Intelligent Control System For Hot Blast Furnace Combustion In Blast Furnace

The blast furnace is the main equipment for ironmaking production of iron and steel industry,the principle of which is burning coke reduces iron ore into hot metal in hot blast stove with the hot air blowing.The strengthening smelting process in common use is relying heavily on hot air.The average temperature of hot blast stove remains a low level generally in blast furnace in China,and the temperature in Panzhihua steel vanadium co.is in the middle and upper level across the country,however the consumption of blast furnace gas per tons iron at a low.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the intelligent control system for hot blast furnace combustion belonging to Panzhihua steel vanadium co.,by which the hot air temperature will be raised and efficiency will be increased,and both the sufficient burning of gas and energy conservation will be realized by the study,consequently economic and social benefits will be combined.According to the specifications of improving hot blast stove performance which proposed by iron making plant in Panzhihua Steel and Vanadium during the major overhaul on 4# blast furnace in 2017,concept of hot blast furnace burning control is simplified and fuzzy control technology is introduced,the temperatures of hot blast stove vault and waste gas are set as the controlling aim in the condition of the pressure and heat value of gas change unceasingly,we study the control technology on gas and air participating in the combustion process by using the technology combining fuzzy controller and double cross limiting range combustion control.Thus,it can not only ensure the temperature of the hot blast stove vault raising rapidly but also ensure suitable ratio of air and gas in the combustion process.In this paper,we discuss the technical process and control principle of hot blast stove in blast furnace,and the design,realization and operation effect of the intelligent control system for the combustion hot blast stove in No.4 blast furnace of Panzhihua steel vanadium co.are expounded also.
