With the development of China's ecological civilization construction,people's environmental awareness is gradually increased.adobe building as a kind of building which is green and sustainable,has received extensive attention of scholars.By combining the advantages of adobe building,such as convenient to draw on local resources,simple construction,insulation performance,green environmental protection local materials,low energy consumption,no pollution etc,and meeting the modern needs of building,,this paper introduces a interlocking compressed adobe block According to the overseas experience.This kind of adobe brick without mortar in engineering application,can construct a adobe wall which can be filled and load-bearing by using reliable and simple structural measures,and replace a wall which has high energy consumption and high pollution,so as to promote the application of green ecological building and achieve the industrialization and assembly of housing construction in rural house.Because of no research in mechanical properties of adobe masonry in China,compressive and shear mechanical properties of interlocking compressed adobe masonry are studied and discussed,which is the basic problem of interlocking compressed adobe block in the engineering application and promotion process in our country.Compressive strength of interlocking compressed adobe masonry is tested,which obtain the failure process,failure pattern,load-displacement curves of adobe masonry and research basic mechanical failure mechanism and compressive properties.Without considering the influence factors of mortar,a formula of compressive strength is established by drawing lessons from the relevant specifications.By analyzing the compressive stress-strain curve of adobe masonry.it is found that the point of value of elastic modulus is 0.4,and the trial value of elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of this kind of adobe masonry is obtained.Based on 6different vertical compressive force under the three brick embedded adobe masonry shear strength test,the failure process,failure pattern,load-displacement curve are obtained.failure mechanism and basic shear mechanical properties of adobe masonry are researched.the failure modes of this kind of adobe masonry are divided into two types: shear failure and shear failure.By fitting the test data of masonry,the shear pressure correlation curve ofmasonry,the shear pressure correlation of masonry and a formula for shear pressure correlation of masonry are obtained.Through the analyzing different adobe bricking-up shear strength calculation value of shear strength theory,the shear compression correlation of is consistent with the highest degree of Luo Wankang theory.
