With the continuous development of plastic industry,the injection mold has avery big development in the quality, technology, manufacturing capabilities. And finallyit makes great progress, and also the application in the injection mold is inseparable withthe use of the CAD/CAE/CAM computer technology. In the injection mold, the molddesign, analysis and manufacture are completed on the computer by CAD/CAE/CAMintegration technology. The efficiency of injection mold design is greatly improved. Themold development cycle is shortened and the labor intensity is reduced. In a word, thecomputer CAD/CAE/CAM technology is used more and more widely in the injectionmold.Firstly this paper describes the selected topic background and the significance ofinjection mold CAD/CAE/CAM. In addition, the paper discusses the present situationand trend at home and abroad of the injection mold CAD/CAE/CAM. Then the papermainly discusses the injection mold structure design of coupler, the injection mold CAEanalysis, the processing of core and cavity. The main contents are as follows: Firstly, itcarries on the overall design of injection mold and the basic principles and some relevanttheoretical knowledge of injection mold are threw light upon. Secondly, the EMX molddesign module of PROE software is used to design the injection mold structure,including the rate settings of shrinkage, the definition of core, cavity surface and moldopening direction, the definition of core parting surface and cavity parting surface design,import of mold set, the part gating system of the design, the loading of push rod andsome standard parts. Then the CAE analysis on the process forming of blade is carriedout by using Moldflow, including the determination of gate location, the creation of thecooling system, filling, cooling and warpage analysis. The warpage analysis is studied ina deep point and the warpage analysis is researched with the orthogonal test method. Itreduces the warpage of plastic parts in the maximum limit. The maximum warpage valueof the plastic part after parameters optimization is3.612mm., getting the amount ofwarpage in line with the requirements of expectations, making the quality of partssurface and dimension conform to the requirements of drawings. After analyzing how todecrease warpage in theory, then discuss how to improve the efficiency and produce thebest products with the least amount of time through contacting the actual process, inorder to get the best process parameters, the test method with several times is putforward. Finally, the cavity and core are processed in simulation by using the UGsoftware. And then the NC codes are generated. About the injection mold structure design of turbine coupler, this paper focuseson using the orthogonal experiment method to reduce the shrinkage deformation ofplastic parts. Through multiple sets of data between the orthogonal selection for warpagequantity calculation, the best processing parameters combination is finally got and thetest method with several times is used to get the best processing parameters in the actual.
