With the progress of science and technology,there have been a variety of lightweight sheet which is light weight,high strength but difficult to process in industry.For the processing of such materials,the slider of the servo press is required to have the characteristics of variable speed movement,so it is necessary to design different types of multi-linkage transmission mechanism to meet the technological requirements.This paper describes the design of a crank toggle transmission mechanism which is suitable for processing materials with difficult forming and large quantities springback.The design of this paper is based on the crank double-toggle linkage drive system.The virtual prototype modeling and simulation analysis of several different transmission mechanisms is finished in ADAMS,it is determined that the crank double-toggle linkage drive mechanism has the advantages of good back characteristics and good performance.And based on this conclusion,the crank toggle transmission mechanism is designed.Then the kinematics analysis of the crank toggle transmission mechanism was carried out by using the complex vector method.The analytical equation of the stroke,velocity and acceleration of the transmission mechanism is obtained and the correctness of the equation is verified in Matlab which laid the foundation for the subsequent optimization analysis.To reduce the maximum speed and acceleration of the slider and the height of the transmission mechanism were taken as the optimization targets.And then,the design variables of the transmission mechanism is reduced by using parametric analysis in ADAMS and constraints and objective functions is determined.Finally,the multiobjective optimization analysis of the transmission mechanism is carried out by genetic algorithm.The results show that the performance of the crank toggle transmission mechanism has improved after optimization and has good packing performance and force performance,which is suitable for processing materials with difficult forming and large quantities springback.
