With the promulgation of the new curriculum standard in 2003 and the promotion of textbooks prepared in accordance with the new curriculum standards, the reform of high school new curriculum has been continuously promoted throughout the country.High school chemistry has also been vigorously carried out with the continuous development of reforms. However,at present, the reform of the new chemistry curriculum for high schools is very concerned about the development of students and the improvement of quality education, but the consciousness of the university's chemical education service is relatively weak in the course content.University chemistry is also relatively lacking in adaptability to the new curriculum reforms in high school chemistry, teaching and teaching materials still follow a traditional framework, lacking convergence with high school chemistry content and teaching blending. Therefore,it is necessary to adapt to the changes and results of the reform of the new chemistry curriculum in senior high schools from the teaching contents, teaching methods and learning methods."Inorganic Chemistry" occupies an extremely important position in university chemistry. However, today's freshman students have a poor acceptance of "Inorganic Chemistry",and many students cannot adapt to the changes from high school to university learning. There is a problem in the convergence between chemistry textbooks and university chemistry textbooks.Studying the connection between teaching materials can help high school students who are interested in chemistry to lay a good foundation for future study and help college students adapt to the learning model of university chemistry.Simultaneously, the reform of university chemistry textbooks can be promoted, and the reform of university textbooks can in turn promote the reform of chemistry teaching and teaching materials in middle schools, and strengthen the awareness of high school teachers and students in the teaching activities for the university to continue learning chemistry. Therefore, this paper provides a reference basis for solving the above problems by studying the connection of two textbooks.Based on literature review and analysis, the paper finds that the research on the connection between middle school chemistry textbooks in China is basically mature, but there is limited research on the connection between high school chemistry and university chemistry textbooks. Therefore, guided by Bruner learning theory,Constructivist learning theory, and Zone of proximal development, the literature review method, comparative analysis method, and induction method were used,Researching on the connection between PEP high school chemistry textbook and the third edition of "Inorganic Chemistry" by Jilin University.Firstly, the paper analyzes the connection of the two textbooks from the arrangement, including the comparative analysis of the high school chemistry curriculum standards and the foreword of Inorganic Chemistry, and the comparative analysis of the connection between the two textbooks and the setting of content.By comparing the differences between the high school chemistry content and the university chemistry content, the existing relationship between the two textbook content knowledge points was determined and the more valuable core content was selected as the specific research object to analyze and research the connection. The more valuable core content is the connection of the content in High school chemistry Elective 4 "Principle of chemical reaction",Elective 3 "Substance structure and properties" and the content in "Inorganic Chemistry".Secondly, the relationship between the knowledge points of the two textbooks is divided into content that has a corresponding relationship and has no corresponding relationship, for the more cohesive relationship, the first is a general description of the cohesive relationship, and then find a typical representative of the detailed analysis,in order to find out the part of the better connectivity and the problem of the connection. The content of the two textbooks has the following characteristics in the connection: The convergence of Elective 4 and Inorganic Chemistry in the transformation of thinking patterns, including the transition from simple to complex, qualitative to quantitative,is gradual, but there are many problems with repetitive content, especially the ionization of water and the acidity and alkalinity of the solution. However, the content connection of Elective 3 and Inorganic Chemistry has a large span from the knowledge content itself, and some contents are not very close in the transition of the way of thinking,it is mainly reflected in the part of the crystal structure, while the rest is relatively well handled, but there is also a problem of a small amount of repetition.Thirdly, teaching suggestions are proposed according to the characteristics of the connection after analysis. The convergence is relatively close, but the depth and breadth of the content are relatively large, these contents should be set as learning difficulties for learning. For the content of close connection, but the knowledge of different points of view is obviously different, should give more guidance in the study of law and teaching methods. For the content with little or no connectivity, especially the content that requires more physical knowledge and mathematics knowledge,it is necessary to strengthen the links between the disciplines of chemistry and mathematics and physics. For content that overlaps more,it should be appropriately deleted or students should be required self-learn by reading under class. For high school teachers, the proposal to strengthen the basic talent awareness for university education is put forward in teaching. Finally, the prospects and deficiencies of the research are given and need further study.
