China is a mountainous country with 1/2 of the total number of mountain cities in China.Mountain towns and cities are becoming more and more important in the process of accelerating urbanization.Located in the western part of China,Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the Central Government in the western region.It is also the economic center of the upper reaches of the Changjiang River and an important modern manufacturing base.The country places great importance on the urbanization in Chongqing.Urbanization has promoted the economic development of the country and the improvement of people's living standards.However,the process of urbanization caused by excessive urbanization has brought about a series of social,population and environmental problems,which have caused serious geological and ecological pressure on people's living environment and regional ecosystems.In recent years,various geological and environmental problems in the mountainous towns such as earthquakes,landslides,floods,mudslides,and subsidence have become one of the important factors affecting the rational development of mountainous towns.Under the background of rapid urbanization and western development,how to guide the sustainable development of mountainous cities and towns based on scientific and rational theoretical methods based on the complexity of mountainous towns is particularly urgent and important.Evaluation of Geological Environment Quality in Mountainous Cities and Urban Planning Strategy are the sub-topics of "Research on New Technology and Methods of Mountainous Urban Planning under the Change of Geological Ecology"(Project No.51378517),a key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China.Environmental related theory research,on-the-spot investigation,access to a large amount of relevant information,"3S" technology application,with the research area of Chongqing Municipality as a research area,to explore the status quo and succession law of mountain eco-environment in mountainous cities,Adequate data support and scientific theoretical basis.The thesis mainly discusses from four parts:(1)Theoretical research and problem discovery.Based on the research background,this part combs the related theories of geo-ecological environment in mountainous cities and towns,clarifies the theoretical connotation and the significance and urgency of the evaluation of geo-ecological environment quality in mountainous cities and towns,and analyzes the status of geological environment in mountainous cities and towns.(2)Evaluation system and evaluation method construction.This part puts forward the idea of evaluating the quality of geo-ecological environment in mountainous cities through relevant case studies.The assessment system of geo-ecological environment quality in mountainous areas is established by three levels of grading standards and 25 evaluation indexes.The APH method is used to determine the weight of indicators.ArcGIS spatial analysis combined with multi-element weighted evaluation method is used to evaluate the geo-ecological quality of mountainous cities and towns system.(3)Investigation of Geological Environment and Evaluation of Geological Environment Quality in Kaizhou District,Chongqing City.Based on literature review and field investigation,the paper divides Kaizhou District into 30 m × 30 m evaluation units.Evaluates 25 indicators by single factor and weights them to obtain the final evaluation results,and summarizes the distribution of excellent quality of geoecological environment in Kaizhou.The characteristics of the status quo and found that geological and ecological problems for urban planning in Kaizhou District provide the basis for adjustment.(4)Planning Strategy of Adapting Geological and Ecological Environment in Kaizhou District,Chongqing City.Based on the evaluation results,suggestions on adaptation of urban planning in Kaizhou District were proposed from the aspects of geological environment,ecological environment,and artificial environment,and the establishment of a systematic relationship between the geological ecology environment and urban-rural planning disciplines was further advocated.
