Offshore drilling operation is a special operation with high investment,risk and technical.Once an accident occurs,it often faces disastrous consequences.In 2010,the explosion that tore through the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig,began a human,economic,and environmental disaster[1].Therefore,studies on operational risk of offshore drilling can effectively control risks and prevent accidents,which are of great significance for offshore oil exploration and development.The South China Sea is divided into Eastern South China Sea and Wester South China Sea,with the boundary of 113°10?E.The eastern South China Sea from Nanao Island,Shantou,Guangdong,to Hailing Island,Yangjiang,Guangdong,and the south point is Kalimantan Island.It belongs to the tropical and subtropical regions.This paper presented investigation on the three key risks:?1?The equipment risk classification model is established to classify the hazard found by the per-drilling test,and then the specific inspection results of offshore drilling facilities in the last three years.Equipment risk laws are investigated;?2?Calculate the motion response and hydrodynamic load of the hull,Analysis the motion response and the wave load of the semi submersible drilling ship in the regular wave;?3?The influence of internal wave flow on Semi-mobile drilling platform are prested with suggestions for how to respond internal wave flow impact.Through the investigation on the risk of drilling facilities?1?The per-drilling inspection method can effectively reduce the Major hazards of equipment and design hazards of new drilling rig;?2?The platform mooring system will broken when the wind speed exceed 49.79m/s;?3?Studies on internal wave flow has found that the current deep-water exploration area height coincidence with internal wave active area,therefore the risk of internal wave flow must be considered in deep-water operation,and the early warning and response plan should be included in the operation plan.
