With the improvement of economic standards,people's demands for clothing are getting higher and higher.Fit,comfort,softness,and flexibility have become the goals of the new fabrics.Therefore,the development and research of new types of elastic fibers have far-reaching significance.New polyolefin elastic fiber is a new type of propylene-based thermoplastic polyolefin elastic fiber,which is produced by melt-spinning and can be recycled.Through the full analysis of the properties of new polyolefin elastic fiber,including mechanical properties,elasticity,thermodynamic properties,etc.It was concluded that new polyolefin elastic fiber shows excellent elastic recovery performance with good oxidation resistance.Some special effects of the fabric can be weaved due to the large boiling water shrinkage of new polyolefin elastic fiber.At the same time,a suitable spinning process was set up,orthogonal tests were designed,and a total of 18 kinds of cotton/polypropylene elastic core yarn and cotton/spandex core yarn were spun.The performance of yarn was tested,the best spinning process is obtained by visual analysis,variance analysis and comprehensive analysis.The core fineness is 40 D,the pre draft ratio is 4 times,and the twist factor is 380.The elastic knitted fabric is designed and spun by using the preferred core spun yarn.The wearability of the knitted fabric was systematically studied by comparing with the cotton/spandex core spun knitted fabric through mechanical properties,style and thermal comfort test.The results show that the elastic knitted fabric made of new polyolefin elastic fiber blended yarn has good elasticity and thermal wet comfort properties,and it can be widely applied to elastic fabric.
