Scallops are not only nutritious but also highly medicinal.In recent years,with the continuous increasing in shellfish aquaculture production in China,the market demand for scallop products has gradually increased,so the demand for scallop processing equipment has been also increasing.At present,the domestic scallop automated processing equipment is still in the primary research and development stage,and the scallop processing is still based on the manual method.The processing environment is poor and the production efficiency is low.This paper refers to the domestic and foreign scallop processing technology,combines with the National Marine Public Welfare(201205031),and designs a rotary bay scallop production line.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:(1)The biological characteristics of bay scallops are studied.The relative positions and diameters of the adductor muscles are clarified using Rational and polynomial fitting methods.These parameters are used to achieve cutting of the scallop shells,splanchnic visceral and adductor muscle stripping of the bay scallops.(2)The overall structural design of the production line.Based on the biological characteristics of the bay scallop and the process flow of the shell muscle stripping,the overall layout of the rotary disc production line is determined.The mechanical structure and control system of the whole machine are designed and the main performance parameters are analyzed.(3)The design of key components of the production line.The bay scallop shell cutting assembly is designed.The cutting position of the saw blade is determined according to the geometry parameters of the bay scallop structure.The scallop opening angle and shell upper shell curve are measured through experiments,and the mathematical model of the closed shell muscle cutting assembly is established.The range of blade bending angle is calculated.The trajectory of the blade obtained by ADAMS simulation is fitted to the curve of the upper shell of the scallop,determine the rationality of the blade bending angle range.The model of the vacuum pump is determined according to the binding force of internal organs and shell columns,and the quantitative relationship between the three parameters of the gas flow rate,the gas flow,and the diameter of the straw mouth is analyzed.(4)Design the entire production line control system.In response to the operation requirements of the mechanical structure part of the production line,the control requirements of the electrical control system are proposed,and the PLC is selected as thecontroller to allocate the PLC I/O port.According to the scallop processing technology,the design of the entire electrical control system program is completed.(5)Finally,the production line equipment is installed and adjusted.The test results show that the rotary bay scallop production line meets the scallop processing quality and processing efficiency requirements.
